Sorry I didn't send an entry yesterday! We had a rough day. Elizabeth has very bad eczema and it decided to flair up yesterday. Thank God we have a great group of people we travel with. Our "next door neighbor" had some Triamcinolone which she uses for her son's ecezema at home. Once we put that on Elizabeth, the furious scratching stopped in about 15 minutes. She was very fussy yesterday. Thank God we had a free day. We pretty much stayed in the room with her.

Today, she is much, much better. Still scratching, but not as bad. Guy took the trip to the orphanage. Our guide recommended that the babies do not go back to visit the orphanage, so pretty much the fathers went. I am glad for that. I feel as though she is adjusting to us now and I don't want to confuse her too much.

She is a very good eater. Yesterday, our group had a pizza party... Pizza Hut. It tasted just like home. I think it was the best meal we had this whole trip. We gave Elizabeth some crust and she chowed down.

Enjoying Pizza Crust

We let her taste some Coke...just a little and of course, she loved it. This morning for breakfast she had a bowl of rice cereal, scrambled eggs and a piece of a donut. When we got back to the room she had a whole bottle and is now napping.

Nanchang is still overcast and this is not even their rainy season! I think at this point we miss the sun, but most of all home! One week from today we head home and it can't come too soon.

Princess Elizabeth

Love to all,

Cathy, Guy & Elizabeth (a/k/a Princess Elizabeth)
