Last Full Day in China!

Follow our Blog for China Updates, too!

Today is our last full day in China.... we are so ready to come home! Today, in the morning, we went to the Chen Family Temple. It was originally a university before the Revolution; now it is a museum that houses artifacts. It is truly a beautiful building. Unfortunately, we do not have any pictures....our camera's digital card died!

In the afternoon, we went to the American Consulate to get the baby's visa and for the swearing in ceremony. As soon as we set on American soil, she will be classified as an American citizen! The ceremony was pretty fast. All of the Jiangxi families were there....46 in all. We were not allowed to bring in any kind of cameras, so we don't have any pictures....unfortunately.

We spent the evening packing. Our luggage needed to be outside of our room by 5:15 am. We threw out lots of stuff that we brought with us and never touched once in China!
