We have news!!!! Today, Tuesday August 30th, 2005...our agency, Great Wall China Adoption, sent out the Stork Alert to let us know that referrals would be sent from Beijing the very next day!!!! We hope to have the information about our daughter within the next week. We can't wait to share our referral information and photos with all of you!!

WE ARE SO EXCITED!!!

We are still waiting for an update on our travel. We have received permission from China to travel, but are patiently waiting to find our date from our agency and the American Consulate. It is possible that we could leave as early at the 10th of October or as late as Thanksgiving. We are hoping to get over there as soon as possible and bring Jaelin XiaoJu Hancock back to Lubbock to be with her new family.

We are happy to have met some other families who have adopted, and are extremely excited that there is another family from Lubbock who is adopting at the same time as us from the very same orphanage! Talk about the Red Thread, life is truly amazing.
