Kenny Hibbit was a superb goal scoring midfielder with an excellent record of 114 goals in 570 appearances for Wolves. During his early football years in 1966 he joined Park Avenue club as a amateur in Bradford, he turned professional in January 1968 and after playing just 15 league matches for the Bradford Club he transferred to Wolves in November 1968 for £5,000. At first he was a little homesick, but he soon settled in and the fans grew to love him.

He won 2 League Cup Winners medals in 1974 and 1980 and also helped Wolves win promotion from the 2nd Division in 1977 and 1983. He also lined up in the 1972 UEFA Cup Final. In 1982 Kenny had a Testimonial Match but then 2 years later he left Wolves to join Coventry City. During his career he only received one international call-up as a substitute for the England Under 23 v Wales in 1970/71.

After Coventry City he joined Bristol Rovers in August 1986 then suffered a broken leg when playing against Sunderland in February 1988, sadley this brought an end to his playing career but he became assistant to Gerry Francis and saw Rovers win the 3rd Division title and finish runners-up in the Leyland DAF Trophy Final in 1989.

In the 1990/91 season he took over as manager of Walsall, making a welcome return to the Midlands.
