Our coven, Daughters of the Moon, was founded in 1998 by WindSong and Katie. At that time only WindSong and Katie were the members. Today, Daughters of the Moon has grown to 11 members in the Ocean County, New Jersey area. Both Katie and WindSong have studied the Craft for ten years, beginning while they were both teenagers. The ages of our members range from 18-25, so we are a younger coven, and are always looking for fresh insites and other people. Because Daughters of the Moon is exclusively women, we decided we would like to expand and include men in our group, and we decided to form this website and a sister coven, also run by Katie and WindSong, called Children of the Moon. Daughters of the Moon began as two friends trying to lern more about Goddess Worship and women's spirituality. There is much more to a woman than her looks, and that is what the coven was founded on. Over the years as we have grown, so too have our ideas and the causes that we support. Currently, there are 4 main causes that we believe in, and lend our full support to.
