About Me

Hi, My name is Britain And I run And own this kennel! I love animals and dogs are on the top of my list. I am 16 years old and live in a house that does not have the capacity or backyard to house a large breed dog. I do have a chihuahua and a maltese. But I cant wait to live on my own and have a big backyard and be able to house some of the larger breed dogs. Boxers are most defintely my favorite breed of dog. They are proud, they are playful and they demand respect. They are a beautiful breed of dog and will be the first large breed dog i get no doubt. I also want many more animals, like bearded dragons, snakes, cats, rats and other animals as well. I am an animal FREAK! On another note I havent been a member of Best Of Breed for very long but I love how in-depth and how personal everything is! Its an awesome site and i cant wait till my months up soo I can start using this kennel and doing much other things. About The Kennel

The Main House

The main house Is The center of all business. It Is my mome, as well as the place I house all my cats and dogs. It is three stories high and is big enough to fit even my biggest Danes. There are many rooms, most playing a daily roll in the animals that I care for. The only rooms for humans like me and my helpers around the main house are my bedroom and bathroom(1st floor),as well as the kitchen(3rd floor) and the guest room(3rd Floor).
My Other Rooms Are:
The Feeding Room: There is always food present in this room but to make sure all my animals are well fed, i do collect them for feeding and rotate them through the room. Eating rotation is from 7-8am, 1-2pm and 6-7pm on a normal day.
The Sleep Rooms: There are three different sleep rooms one on each floor. The one on the bottom is mostly for my elder animals who can no longer climb up the tall stairs. The other two are for whoever might wander in there. I do make sure my indoor animals are inside while im asleep and although i leave their and my room open they tend to actually sleep through most of the nights. If they need me they always come running and jump in bed with me.
The Play Rooms: Two in total. They are the loudest rooms in the house as my animals are very playful.
The Bathing Room: Located on the ground level floor, it contains two bathtubs made for large breed dogs to smaller animals as well as a grooming station. My animals love their baths!
The Mom and Baby Room: There is one, located on the ground floor next to my bedroom. This room consists of two very specially crafted birthing areas big enough for both me or the vet, the mom and the babies. The other side of the room is two baby and mom holding areas. Places where the babies and most times mom are kept after birth and until they are ready to enter the realm of their new home. I always have a vet around when births are in progress.
Gear and Storage Room: Located on the second floor. It's exactly what it sounds like, in this room I keep all the daily animals needs, gear and supplies. I have and Rack of leashes, Piles of bags of Food, from senior all the way to puppy/kitten, bags of litter, and shelves full of canned food. As well as a back up storage of toys! This is also were i keep supplies needed for birth, babies, as well as shampoo!

The Awards And Rememberance Room: The final room In The main house located on the very top floor. This room is dedicated to all the awards any of my dogs have own. As Well as a room dedicated to remembering greats that have left us for the other realm. I love walking through this room as I can sometimes feel the spirits of passed dogs around me.

Guesthouse

This house consists of 4 bedrooms & bath Combos. These rooms are set aside for my helpers/handlers. Who sometimes stay with me for days at a time. I only hire people who really care about animals!

Outdoors

I own 3 and a half acres of land where my kennel is located. My animals love this! All my poperty is properly fenced in with a six foot wooden fence on two sides and a shorter wood fence on the front and back sides of the property. With glass along The back side As To allow viewing of the beautiful ocean. In the front there is a large gate That allows only people in who give it the secret password. Throughout the yard I have toys, practicing equipment for the many different activities my animals are in as well as a large pool which my dogs absolutely love!
