Upon arriving at the Deerling we were greeted by Tybyryous and a medical team, for which we were all grateful. I took a closer look at the captain and noticed something about him; he was an anthropomorphic wolverine, but he had three tails, he noticed my attention and smiled at me, "are you ready for this?" I replied, "let me make sure they're okay, and that I'm sitting down, I have a feeling that I'll need a good solid surface under me," to which he nodded, smiling. When we reached the med bay everyone was given a good fortifying meal and examined, which caused a few involuntary reactions but the nurses were ready to deal with them, having been given some inkling as to what had occurred. My exam took the longest, not only because of the bad reactions that I had, but also because of all the things that I told them had been done to me.

The next day, after everyone was fully rested, Tybyryous came back to the med bay to speak to me, bringing something that turned out to be a scrap-book full of family photos. He sat next to my bed and looked at me with oddly familiar looking eyes, "ancestor, are you ready to learn some of the things which happened after your abduction?" I nodded warily, "are you saying that I have a family again?" He smiled and handed me the scrap-book, which started with a picture of myself and Pothia holding each others hands, I felt a tear well up and roll down my cheek, murmuring, "gods I miss her, she was so special to me, and I never got to say goodbye." Tybyryous put a hand on my right arm, giving me a consoling look, saying, "She knew, that's why I think she did what she did." I looked at him, then remembered our last night together and blushed furiously. Then next picture is of Pothia holding a small baby in a pink blanket, the caption below saying 'Pothia and Gwynna', "a daughter, gods .. this makes me happier than you could imagine." Tybyryous smiled, seeing the effect that these pictures were having on me, letting me take my time going through the images of Gwynna growing to womanhood, witnessing her with her first child and mate; each page revealing new treasures and other family members, each inheriting the kitsune gene, the last three pages started with a picture of an anthropomorphic wolverine carrying a baby bundled in blue and her mate, the caption underneath reading "Ambyr, Groegeh, and Tybyryous". I looked up into his eyes, tears streaming down my face and muzzle, "grandchild?" to which he smiled and nodded, "with a couple of great-greats added on to it to really make you feel ancient. Heres the kicker ancestor, you're still physically younger than I am." I blinked, and then laughed heartily, "gods, if it hadn't happened to me I'd never believe it if anyone told me this story." Tybyryous nodded at that, chuckling softly himself, "welcome back to the weird world ancestor." I took his hand in mine and said, "just call me Saski, please, this 'ancestor' business will take a lot of getting used to," to which he nodded. I then started looking around the med bay, "when do you think they'll be letting me out of here? It's not that I don't enjoy being waited on hand and foot, but I do remember that the counselor was able to make visits to private rooms. The scents here, they're beginning to get to me already, even though they're different from those I smelled on the station." Tybyryous nodded, "by the end of this week we'll have built the accommodations, we had to rearrange the cargo to make room for rooms, especially for the largest of your fellow detainees. We're also making sure to allow for plenty of variation and personalization, so that you won't be reminded of your cells." I smiled and murmured, "Captain, you are most definitely cut from the same cloth as I am, as that's what I would have done in a similar situation."
