Time to celebrate people, it's the first of June! You know what that means! Only thirty days until the first of July! Yeah, I know you were all wondering if I was going to be able to make a post today, between the ritualistic patterns of eating jello, gopher tails, and orange sherbert, plus sleeping for 24.00025 hours a day... Oh man, PARTAY DUDE! Whew, expect more of this tomorrow. But I'm probably not going to write anything tomorrow, so you will have to rely purely on your stylistic wit and imagination, which I know the readers of this site are prone to do! So anyways, from what I've heard, the new Metallica album "St. Anger" is actually supposed to kick ass. Well, it fucking better, I'm not waiting six years to hear Re-RE-re-rE-load. There better not be any songs about his kids, too. That usually signifies a shitty album. Anyways, I've heard that the cd is going to be faster paced than "...And Justice For All", which had some pretty fucking fast stuff. I hope James doesn't puss out, so we don't get gypped. Like Scott Weiland, of Stone Temple Pilots, made some great music in the nineties, but he went into rehab and had kids, and "Shangri-La Di Da" blew cock, utterly and completely. Maybe the first four or so songs were heavy fuckers, but then the rest of the album was like listening to Torch music. Deftones has a new cd out now, Self-Titled if I remember correctly. It has a skull on it or something. It was apparantly called "White Pony Pt. 2" or something for a working title, because that "was the only name that fit". Well, I'm glad to see they found something better, be it "Deftones". I'm more concerned with checking out "Around the Fur" and "Adrenaline" first, though according to some sources, "Adrenaline" sounds like they're just jumping on the "Korn Nu-Metal Bandwagon". I hope not, Korn sucks.

Hey, guess what? I finally got around to hooking up my computer and it works pretty good, ableit it lags a tad on the internet. Continuing on from Kal was talking about St. Anger, I also heard that the new albumn should kick ass, that it's very fast, there are no ballads, and suprisingly, no solos. So what's Kirk going to do for the disc?! Anyway, I just got the new Led Zeppelin DVD and it kicks ASS!. Over all there is 5 hours and 20 minutes of footage on the this two disc set that spans their entire career. I'd have to say that although the first disc is slightly lower in visual quality (though not poor, it's not as outstanding in quality as the second disc), it is the best of the two. On it, it contains a complete hour and a forty minute concert from the Royal Albert Hall, back in 1970, shortly after the release of Led Zeppelin 2. This performance completely covers their early days as a performing band, full of energy. In that aspect, I'd like to point out that it actually shows John Paul Jones enjoing himself, because it's hard to tell whether he is or not half the time on the Song Remains the Same. Some highlights of the first disc are: How Many More Times (at the RAH live),I Can't Quit You Baby, and their Danmarks radio show (in 1969). The second disc begins with the energetic immigrant song, a montage of clips and bootleg footage to serve the intense music they're pumping out. There's also alot of deleted footage from the Song Remains The Same including: A full version of Black Dog (for those who maybe didn't enjoy Bring it On Home cutting into the version on the Song Remains the Same), Misty Mountain Hop (!), Since I've Been Loving, and The Ocean (!!). The release of this footage evokes the question "Why the fuck did leave out Misty Mountain Hop and The Ocean?". The rest of the disc contains footage from and Earls court concert(1975), which features an acoustic set, and the concert at Knebworth (1979), which contains live versions of Achilles Last Stand and Kashmir (!!!!!). If you have the money, buy it now. I guess I really don't have mush else to say. The new Tomahawk cd is not as great as the first one sadly, though it is pretty good. The new Radiohead albumn "Hail to the Theif" will be out June 10, and I've only heard outstanding reviews for it
See you all soon, Ha Ha Ha.
