Situated some 478 kilometers south of Manila, Iriga is strategically located in the Bicol Region, sandwiched as it is between region’s two others cities, Naga in the north and Legazpi in the south.

Iriga City’s climate is tropical. There are two seasons: wet, from June to December, and dry, from January to May.

The city has a total land area of 17,400 hectares, of which 78% is classified as agricultural. About 16% is built-up.
Road. The city is readily accessible to all forms of land transportation facilities. It is served by the Maharilika High-way, from Manila to the South. The city has 258 kilometers of road tranversing all points of destination.
