The graphics are good, but not nearly as impressive as those being used by Sega on both WSB 2K3 (XBox) and Home Run King (GC). The players look a little too small and "soft" like an older computer game. Don't get me wrong, the game looks good but could have looked so much better with the sytems it is currently on. The commentary gets stale rather quick in this game as well. Sorta like real baseball!LOL!

Home Run Derby is a blast. Unlike normal batting against fastballs, you can really crank on some of these. The Trivia game is a good bonus. I know little about baseball trivia or history, but it is good for my friends who know all that but lack the dexterity to compete in the game (Old Softball players!).

The Expansion and Franchise modes seem to be fairly in depth, though I haven't had the opportunity to play to deep into a season (it's kinda hard to when you can't save until the new memory cards are out). Also in the few games I did play, actually saw some injuries. Makes for some interesting management. Oh and your pitcher can be ejected for hitting a batter with a pitch. (see the screen shots!). Other nice touches are the Cooperstown Legends team and the Trading Cardss which unlock new teams (or maybe just the uniforms, haven't gotten either figured out yet) and classic stadiums.

Overall it is a solid game with good play mechanics and animations. The rocket fastballs could be toned town a bit on an otherwise good baseball engine. The graphics while not stellar are quite good and sound is adequate. While the game doesn't do a lot to excite you, it is nonetheless a good baseball simulation game with some nice extras (trivia game), and a fair amount of depth.
