Chapter 4
About a week later we were back at the ranch filming scenes for the next video. It was about 11 o’clock the first morning and I hadn’t seen Maria yet. I was hoping she’d be there. I couldn’t wait to see her again.
The crew was filming a seen with just Zac. I was standing behind all the cameras getting extremely bored and impatient, when suddenly there was a soft tap on my shoulder. I turned around and found myself face to face with her again. I let out a gasp of air, amazed at her beauty all over again. “Hi” I managed to get out.
She flashed me that smile again. That time I was sure it was mischievous, and not shy. She took my hand and led me away from all the commotion. I glanced over my shoulder once to make sure I wouldn’t be missed. No one was paying attention. Maria and I increased our walking pace to get away from everyone quicker.
“I’ve missed you Taylor Hanson,” she said in a sultry voice once we had reached the over look we’d been to a week earlier.
“I’ve missed you too” I whispered quickly before her lips were on mine. They were soft, but intense. My arms immediately reached out, wrapping around her waist and pulling her in so we were pressed against each other. Her hands found my hair, and tangled themselves in it. The kiss deepened and she teased me with her tongue, flicking it into my mouth and quickly back out again. Hungry for more I let my own tongue slide out along her bottom lip before mixing with hers with electrifying speed and intensity.
When we finally pulled away we watched each other breathlessly for a few moments. “You should go back to work,” she finally said softly. I felt let down until I saw her smile once again. “I’ll be waiting for you,” she added in a whisper. I smiled back and turned heading off to find if I was needed on the set.
I made it back to the set without my absence being noticed, and just in time to start shooting a scene with all three of us. I felt like I couldn’t put my whole heart and mind into the tapping because I was too occupied with thoughts of Maria, but I guess it was good enough because everyone was happy, and before I knew it we were wrapping up for lunch.
I wondered off set in search of my bottle of water. Finding it I took a long swig and then glanced up. Up on top of a hill Maria was sitting watching intently. I smiled at her, and she smiled back. Quickly I fixed a plate with some food and scrambled up the hill toward her.
“Having fun?” she asked as I sat next to her.
“I guess a little,” I said. “What something to eat?” I gestured my plate toward her.
“No thanks, I’ve already eaten” she told me.
“Okay, if we change your mind there’s plenty of food” I said biting into a carrot stick. There was a slight pause in conversation. I realized we hadn’t actually done much talking with each other. We were too busy feeding our physical attraction. This was going to be a true test of our feelings for one another.
“So, when do you have to go back?” Maria asked me a moment later.
“I don’t know, whenever they call me back” I told her.
“Do you have to go when they call you back?” she asked giggling a bit.
“Unfortunately yes, but don’t worry, I’ll be back” I assured her. “Plus we’re going to be staying here tonight because it’ll be a late night” I hinted that I would want to see her then.
“Good, I have so much I would like to show you” she told me.
“It sounds wonderful to me,” I said.
We continued to chat about our plans for another half an hour until I had to get back to work. We both stood up to leave, disappointed that our time together had been cut short, but excited for what we had ahead of us that night. “Until later Taylor” Maria said softly, and gave me a soft kiss on the cheek. I returned to the set with my mind spinning of what all my time with her would hold.
