Thanks for your support and enthusiasm.

Back in 2002, our then-2˝-year-old son Toby was diagnosed with TTP, an extremely rare blood disease that affects the platelet count in the blood. Luckily, Toby is now a healthy 12-year-old budding musician. We are extremely grateful for the answers found through research that saved Toby’s life.

In 2004 we gathered with friends and held our first concert. Our event has grown over the past 8 years, raising over $60,000 for platelet research. Harmony from the Heart is a festive evening of music, raffles, silent auction, food, fun and fundraising.

For further information, please see the links below for Toby’s story and an open letter from Dr. Alan Michelson,
Director, Center for Platelet Research Studies at Children's Hospital Boston.

Thank you for your interest in and your support of Platelet Research.
