Traditionally used to knit the famous wedding ring shawl, this yarn has the approximate yardage of 24000 yards per pound. Only natural(ecru) is available as any coloring treatment will weaken it.

A fine 2-ply needlepoint wool. 100% virgin wool is soft and comes in more than 180 colors. The plies are tightly twisted and no separable for extra durability. The color number scheme is the same with the floss, with an additional "8" in the front. This wool has been discontinued by DMC so only limited colors are available now.
