Sales Tax
California residents please add 8.5% sales tax. Please note that this is the tax rate for the county that the business is located at. It is probably different from your local county rate. Shipping The shipping policy described here is for regular in-stock items. See separate description on special orders Prices include shipping anywhere within the United States. In other word, all you need to pay are the merchadise cost. As miniature enthusiasts ourselves, we too had wondered why we need to pay $5 for shipping and handling when purchasing something that only costs $1 itself. All orders within the United States are shipped through US Postal Service, either First Class or Priority Mail, depending on the size of the package. Canadian and Mexican customers please add $2.00 for shipping regardless of size of order. Please e-mail me to inquire about charges for shipping to other countries. The rate is calculated by the actual cost that it will be for us to ship it to. To get an general idea of the rate, please see the webpage for the United States Postal Service. For our international customers, please check your local rule about tariffs, VAT, GST and import duties before ordering. Some countries has quite a hefty fee with imported goods. You may also check if they have any special rules on handi-craft items, or hobby/doll/toy. They tend to have a lower rate (or duty free) if clearly marked on the package with whatever the offical category it may be. To mitigate the ever escalating shipping charges by the postal service, any orders under $5 will be charged a $1 handling fee. |
