Little things mean a lot to me.
It's not any amount of money
that makes me happy,it's the
emotional and physical touching
that warms my heart. Spending
"quality time" together is so
important. It doesn't mean it
always has to be fun. It could
be planting flowers, or tending
a vegetable garden, raking leaves,
mowing the lawn, shoveling the
walk-way, taking the time to stop and
make snow angels, remodeling a room,
doing the dishes together, or even
cooking together. Of course the fun
things are nice to do too. Like
walking hand in hand in the park,
having a picnic for two, taking a
drive to view the scenery, walking
along the shore, discovering a nature
trail in the park, going for a hay
ride or for a sleigh ride, having a
late night picnic under the stars
and full moon while listening to our
favorite romantic music, dancing under
the stars, or even snuggling by a
camp fire. Sometimes, no words need be
spoken to reveal your emotions.

Always know that there are those
whose love and understanding will
always be there, even when you feel
most alone. May a kind word, a
reassuring touch, and a warm smile
be yours every day of your life,
and may you give these gifts as well
