The Deana Carter
song "What Makes You Stay" talks about why people try one more time to
keep a relationship together--how you can love someone still when your
life together is falling apart. We took a different spin on it, wondering
why two such different people as AJ and Keely would take a chance on each
other (and on themselves) after being burned so many times. There
really isn't much in the Keely series yet that outlines her past, but we
do know that AJ had a failed marriage, considers himself a lousy father
for the most part, and a worse husband....and yet he is taking a chance
with Keely. Why Try One More Time? You tell me. I think
it was her ass in those jeans...
