I was born on November 29, 1952 in Denver, Colorado, to two wonderful parents. My mom is from Illinois and my dad was from the Colorado Gold Diggin town of Central City. I led a pretty normal life up until 1960, when my parents split and my mom married this wonderful guy from Honduras. That changed everything, especially that "normal life". I was introduced into Latino Culture. My parents developed and produced the first Spanish Television Program here in Denver, Colorado. It contained cultural and musical segments. At one time they even had the bullfights. Unfortunately, a horrible accident occurred and prevented my stepfather from being in front of the harsh lights and cameras. When I was 14, we moved to Honduras and off and on for the next 20 years, that was my home. In between that time, I had the five most beautiful children.
WHO I REALLY AM I consider myself a free spirit and somewhat independent. That is the Sagittarius part of me. I love dancing and it is a way for me to relax and forget the daily stresses. Presently, I am learning kickboxing which gives me another outlet to relieve the daily stresses and lose weight. I would love to someday be able to hand the business over to my youngest son, and retire. Buy some property in Honduras, do some gardening, start a simple business to keep food on my table, watch my videos, and retire from the hustle and bustle of this busy, busy world. If I finally find my soul-mate to share this idyllic life that would be great! Generally, I am a happy-go-lucky person, always optimistic, Idealistic, with a pretty good sense of humor. I like to look for the best qualities in people that I meet. I am color-blind and like to meet people of different cultures and backgrounds. I love sports, but to watch, not participate. I am sometimes a real clutz and since I do not like to fail in my endeavors, I generally stay away from any activities that I might fail at, except for billiards which I do enjoy and am somewhat good at getting the ball in the hole. I love movies and am a collector of a variety of DVDS and Videos....I love anything to do with action and Disney. I am sentimental to the point that I even cry at commercials. My kids used to tease me about it. but not anymore cause most of them are just like me!!.... I love life and everything that it offers. I have a CANDO attitude and look at each day as an adventure. I take the days as good or bad, simply as they come and accept each one as a learning experience.
MY CHILDREN
Daniella Gena: born March 4, 1973, in California. She lives in Tucson Arizona and is the mommie of three beautiful daughters: Breanna, she was our Christmas gift in 1996 and the last package that was "unwrapped". On March 24,2001 Dani Married Phil Bregman They had a beautiful daughter who was born on January 16, 2002; Emelia. On June 9th at 1:05 AM 2004 in Tucson Arizona. I had the honor of being present for the birth of their third daughter Charlotte Ilyse Bregman. My Daughter Dani, is a precious gem and is the leader of my little family, simply because of the special gifts God has endowed unto her.
Karen Ione Shirely: It is intended to say KISS; born September 17, 1974 in Texas. She resides in Phoenix Arizona. She is the mommie of Destiny, born on May 20, 1998, my late Mother's day gift. And Dominick August 30, 1999, who was born with a congential heart defect. On October 27, 2002 he received the gift of a heart transplant, However, on November 29, 2002, my 50th birthday, Dominick (Possesion of God) Daniel (Lamb of God) age 3 years 2 months and 29 days, very early in the morning during the largest Meteor Shower that has been witnessed and recorded, joined the the Angels in Heaven. We were saddened but glad at the same time since he no longer has to be the current experiment for the cardiology staff at Children's hospital. I admire Karen's strength and ability to move on with life. It has been a difficult year and half, but she and Destiny are making it through this period of grief.
David Lee: Born the first day of summer in 1976 (June 21) In Hawaii. He resides in New Hampshire, has a beautiful wife, Katie, two gorgeous daughters, Haley born on April 24, 2001 and Marlee May born on November 14, 2002, at a whopping 9 lbs!! He is a Manager of a Large chain of Restaurants.
Lisa Victoria: is one of my babies. She was born in Honduras On October 17, 1981. Today she is a beautiful young woman as her sisters already are. She is currently growing spiritually and is recovering from a horrible drug addiction. She has two little boys, Damian Adhelmar Antonio born on March 14, 2000 who lives with me and keeps me running and Julio Cesar born on October 23, 2002, who has gorgeous curly hair.(julio resides with me as well). Lisa is expecting her third child, due November 26, 2004(maybe a new birthday gift. In September 2004 she will begin to study the field of nursing.
Christian is my other baby: born in Honduras, on March 23, 1983. Naturally, he is not a baby anymore, he is a very bright young man. Currently he works with me in the office and lives with his girlfriend, Holly, she is the first female who has learned how to handle his wild and independent spirit. They will be married on June 26, 2005 in Estes Park Colorado. Last update. Hollie and Chris are the proud adopted parents of Tyson a little (well right now he is!!) Pitbull.

Karen Elisa: my Stepdaughter whom I met in August 1998. She was born on January 27, 1980, In Trujillo, Peru. She is a beautiful young woman with wonderful values and a marvelous mind. Presently she sells Real Estate here in Colorado. On August 28, 2003, she took her citizenship test. and she passed.!
MY ACCOMPLISHMENTS (THE THINGS I AM PROUD OF)
Besides my beautiful creations, mentioned above, I do have several other accomplishments that I am proud of; jejeje.
First in 1992, I finished my Bachelors Degree in Small Business Administration, with a minor in Computer Science and Psychology. Believe me it was not easy, with five children, working 40 hours + a week and eunduring constant financial and emotional problems. That same year and actually a month before I graduated, I was accepted at the university of Denver and I continued on with my Master's. I finished in 1994 with a Master's Degree in Liberal Arts, Global Business and Culture, focusing on Latin America. Just getting accepted at the university of Denver was a major accomplishment. However, My thesis on the Changing Roles of Latin American Women was one of my greatest accomplishment. Did you know that the women of the United States were able to vote after many of the women in Latin america already had the right to vote?
The next major accomplishment, has been my business. After ten years, I can confidently say it is successful. My ex-husband (who is still my business partner) and I started the business without any capital, just great customer relations,working honestly and caring for others. We have three locations and over 3,000 regular clients,and many irregular clients which were developed by word of mouth advertising. No we are not rich, remember I said we work honestly!!!
My most recent accomplishment is The purchase of my first house, it is my pride and joy. It's floor plan is what I always dreamed of owning. We have frequent get-to-together's and I am constantly remodeling.
On July 17,2004 I went with my church on a mission to Tijuana Mexico to build a house for a very low income family. It was so exciting and overwhelming. But my greatest joy came from the feeling that I was I finally able to give something back to a family, who is a representative of my customers who have given me so much.

Blondie by Versache and Carolina Herrera are my favorite perfumes and any Jasmine or gardenia scents
