December 26, 1998- Ahh, the day after Christmas. Usually, I can't
believe Christmas is over when it is, but since it never felt like Christmas to begin with, I guess it's easy to say I can believe it's
over. We still have over a week left of vacation, and it's only dampened by swim practice. I can deal, especially since I have
nothing else to do. Except go to the mall and blow the money I got for Christmas. YES!!! There's nothing I like better than that!
Anywho, Cherise came over tonight, for the first time EVER driving by herself. It was cool, even though I feel bad because we
didn't do anything, except hang around. But the fact that she didn't need her parents to export her over here made it worthwhile,
I guess. I just hope that mother doesn't come downstairs right now. She'll kill me for being online right now. This Dave Matthews
CD is making me sleepy. Hold on, lemme go put on Track 3...Okay. I love Satellite. It's my fav song. I really hope I get to go
shopping tomorrow. You probably think that's all I think about. Well, when I have money, it's true! I should probably go upstairs
to bed. *YAWN* Yup, definately time to hit the sacks. That's the stupidest phrase. Who would hit sacks in order to sleep.
Probably sleep-deprived people like me. Which is why I'm leaving...right now!
December 27, 1998 -I really love shopping, but I hate parting with my
money. That makes no sense, but it's true! My family did go shopping, and I bought the coolest pair of adidas sneakers.
They're so comfy. They make me want to run a mile. Wait, that's pushing the extremes. Let's just say I really like them.
My brothers are driving me crazy. Peter is obsessed with making everyone in this house go crazy by making fake gun noises
every two seconds. I won't be surprised if he ends up in the Army just for gun noises. Ha! Then Andrew, my other brother, has
this tendency to scream the other two seconds Pete isn't firing. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! I talked to Mari today, and we had the
first real conversation we've had in a long time. I was friends with her in third grade, and then we didn't really see each other
until freshman year. Weird, huh? Anywho, she has yet to see my new house, so she better come over my house this vacation.
I should probably go and warm up, since this basement has no heat! BRRR!
