THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN YOU AND ME Vocalist: Greg Orion You say you don't like us, because of the clothes that we wear. You say you don't want us in your lives anywhere. Well maybe we might just feel the same about you. And if you're afraid of us, maybe we're afraid of us too. You say you don't like us just hanging around. Intimidating holiday shoppers and raiding the lost and found. Maybe were just criminals; cutting classes - ditching school. Vicious thugs with a taste for blood, putting on like were so cool. And maybe were the factory haters, who'd rather starve than get a job. Hanging around the underground, getting lost in an angry mob. And if you don't like us, because of the colors in our hair; rainbows made from spray paint and Kool- Aid, maybe we really don't care. We never wanted to be you and we never will. We never wanted to please you and we never will. Maybe we couldn't do it anyway, it doesn't matter, can't you see? Even if we could - You know we never would. That's the difference between you and me. You say you don't like me, because of the things that I say. You say you don't want me in your life anyway. But maybe I might just feel the same as you. And if that scares you, maybe it scares me too. You say you don't like me. I just get in the way. Just shifting about, no work and all play. Does it make me a criminal, breaking glasses on the walls? A vicious thug with a taste for blood, smoking in the restroom stall. And maybe I'm the factory hater, and I'd rather starve than get a job. But work destroys what's left of myself. Another robot in a faceless mob. And if you don't like me because of the colors in my hair; rainbows made from spray paint and Kool-Aid; maybe I really don't care. I never wanted to be you and I never will. I never wanted to please you and I never will. Maybe I couldn't do it anyway, it doesn't matter, can't you see? Even if I could - You know I never would. That's the difference between you and me.
