This craft is a very simple one to make, but it adds holiday charm to any table or altar. The Yule Log's symbolisms are two-fold: first, it is symbolic of the Goddess (green,) God (red,) and the All (white.) Second, the flaming candles symbolize the Sun, the sacerd light of the world.
First, you must drill the holes. With the flat side down, drill three holes on the rounded surface of the log. Try to keep them even as possible. You have completed most of the craft already! If you chose to use the holly and the mistletoe, you'll need a hot glue gun. Place the holly sprig a little left of center in the front, slightly angled to the left and the mistletoe a little right of center, slightly angled right. Tie the ribbon in a bow and glue it between the holly and mistletoe. Arrange the candles in the holes from left to right: red, white, and green. Enjoy the warmth of the holiday season by candlelight!
