The MUD page is complete! It contains links to various muds and mud resources. I hope I have included something for everyone. Enjoy!
Most of the other links stll redirect you to sites that I find useful until I can construct that section. As always if you think of anything that you want to see on this page don't hesitate to contact me.

The Classic Text-Based RPGs
Here is a list of various MUDs of different generes, mostly fantasy:
-Blackmud > A Popular MUD With Tons of Players
- Mysticalmud > Another Popular MUD With Limited Player Kills and No Rent
- Discworld Mud > A mud based on Terry Pratchett's Discworld Series, the books are good but I have yet to play this MUD. If you liked Douglas Adam's Hichhikers Guide you will probably enjoy these books
- Fatal Dimensions > Fatal Dimensions is a fantasy-oriented MUD where players of different classes can explore their ways through varied areas of wonder and imagination. Fatal Dimensions has a few stock areas so any newbie can feel quite at home in the beginning. We have a dedicated group of builders who regularly add new areas to the world. In Fatal Dimensions you can hack-and-slack your career but it is also fun and more rewarding to investigate and interact with the various mobs and environments that you may encounter.
-Shattered Kingdoms > Shattered Kingdoms is a sword-and-sorcery fantasy world. Currently, all six of the kingdoms are available for citizenship as a new character. Each of the six kingdoms in the realms is controlled by one of the player-run cabals which are open to membership. While the leader of the cabal may not be the actual leader of the kingdom, they do speak for them and wield power in their name. Training and equipment both are skill and level based, and equipment is saved. We have extended race and class selections, though no multi-classes is allowed. Player-killing and -stealing is allowed and can be a strong factor in the realms. Character approval is unnecessary, though all immortals are available to help with questions. The code base for Shattered Kingdoms also allows for such things as smart NPCs, a true-to-life criminal justice system, and experience rewards for role-playing.
- The Dragon's Den > The Dragon's Den is an LP-style MUD, it is one of the oldest continuously operating muds in existence.
-Achaea, Dreams of Divine Lands > The #1 MUD on the 'net. Completely custom, w/full-time staff. Player-run cities, guilds, clans, religious Orders. Massive world, roleplaying events, intense PvP and Group vs. Group combat, politics, and economics. You've never seen anything like it!
- Materia Magica > Experience the immense, highly-realized world of Alyria and the most immersive online adventure you'll ever play. Materia Magica is a venerable, free game with a fantastic web site and a large, dedicated playerbase. Check it out for yourself!
-Aarchon > A MUD that takes place in a realm where space, time, and reality itself have been shattered. Many stock areas have been replaced with all original work.
-Decay > A Retro-futuristic MUD featuring zombies, vodun necromancers, 1940s technology, alternate worlds and much more. Not for the faint of heart or the overly serious. Not online 24/7 - yet.
-Cowboy Bebop: Jam Session > COWBOY BEBOP: JAM SESSION RPG! If you're looking for a deep RPG that transcends it's genre and tries to change how you view life... you're in the wrong place. Here, we get down with our funky selves, have a little fun, and blow things up in the process! *Note... I'm not sure of the quality of this Mud but it sounds like a cool concept... Keep looking at their site for updates* ...See You Space Cowboy
-Iceus Mud > An innovative game set in a seamless fantasy theme. Unique combat and spell system, a variety of interesting features to distract you from mindless exp. making. The overall mood of the world makes Icesus truly an exception in the mud genre.
-The Eternal City > ''If you're looking for a game you can really sink your teeth into, with a world in which you can become a true character, this is it.'' - Michael Wolf, PCGamer
-Dragon Ball: Evolution > This MUD is based on the DBZ theme. Most zones are based on the normal DBZ world. A lot of stuff is made to make the storyline and RP better. The players make up their own storyline and areas for the MUD. This is a player run MUD where the players actually make a difference. Everyday the MUD is growing. Planets like Earth, Vegeta, Subzero, Namek, Konack, Asteriod and an unknown planet make up the world. Each race starts on its own planet making each race different and interesting. One last thing about DBE is that each race is different and some are better than others. So if this sounds good to you come and try it out.
-Feudal Realms > An all-original feudal fantasy roleplay setting in the world of Kirganthis. Come walk the streets of Stonegate, travel the walkways of Kisah, and discover the caverns of Brulan. Swear fealty to a noble and help breathe life into Kirganthis.
