Reporting from the protest. |

Hey all. I probably can't give any new information about last night. I can only say the same stuff as everyone else. A ton of people were there, a ton of cops were there, the march along lakeshore was incredible and the end of the night sucked. I was actually surprised at how dangerous the set up was that the police stuck us in. Considering the whole e2 disaster, I couldn't fucking believe they pushed all of us into a small space where we couldn't escape and held canisters of tear gas in front of our faces. I was angry enough because I had to pee badly and couldn't get out, but then I saw this really old man tell the cops he was diabetic and needed to leave and they wouldn't let him go and then I got really pissed. It was a pretty weird and disturbing situation. I heard on the news that the cops were only arresting people who were refusing to leave the area and letting everybody else leave peacefully. That's fucking ridiculous. They arrested the friend I came there with who definately wansn't refusing to leave along with a ton of other people. Whatever, the news lying about the events that took place at a protest is no big surprise for me. Anyway, that's all I really have to say about it. Tick tick boom |
