Whispers
This was made for a site a friend and I were going
to be working on, I was basically the graphics man,
and made this for the home 'splash' page. The website
idea fell through, but I was left with this piece,
so all is not lost.
Godliness
Not really a big story behind this one, it was pretty
much my first real attempt at serious 'art' rather
than just signatures for message boards. It turned
out alright, I guess, depending on the standards
you hold.
Decay
I took the initial image from a site I stumbled
across a while ago, it was a pretty 'real life'
looking image, I've basically made it look a lot
more gothic, and played around just enough to make
it look like the girl's face is half decayed and
bruised. At least I'll always remember how to do
that now. This piece took me the longest, because
I had to play around with it for so long.
Fallen
Hero
If
you ask me, this is my best piece, I've used about
8 different images, and countless layers. It's easily
the one I'm most proud of.
Devoid
I
made this as a signature onto a message board I
used to post on pretty frequently, that's what started
the whole 'art' thing with me, doing signatures
and so forth for message boards. The text was obviously
the easiest part, the background image was pretty
trick though.
Darkorchid
This
was made for a friend of mine for a message board
signature. He was looking for something abstact
and boarderline insane, this is what I came up with.
The original picture took me a while to get, just
like in the 'Devoid' picture.
Beautiful
This
is of someone I know, just basically taken the picture
they had done at Studio 2000, added a few effects,
made it a bit lighter, and came out with this effect
- I'm just adding this in because it shows I can
do more than just gothic/dark art.
