The New Hope Ivyland Railroad is located in New Hope PA. This station features a steam engine, as well as an old fashioned ticket booth and waiting room. Visitors can ride the stream train through beautiful Bucks County landscape. Owen really enjoys visiting this station to watch the train, as well as take a short and scenic ride. During the holiday season, passengers can enjoy hot chocolate, sing songs, and even have an opportunity to meet Santa. Click on the picture below to visit the New Hope railroad website.
Strasburg railway is another one of Owen's favorite places to visit. This attraction is located in Lancaster County, PA. Visitors can enjoy riding a coal burning steam train, as well as visit both a train museum, and a toy train museum. During certain time of the year, passengers can also "take a ride with Thomas". Another fun way to enjoy a train ride is by riding the New Jersey Transit riverline. Passengers can pick up this train at Trenton station for less that two dollars and ride it all the way to Camden to visit the aquarium! The ride takes about 45 minutes, but passengers can enjoy the view of the delaware river during the ride. For more information please click on the picture below.
