As the first leg of the Diamond Dogs tour came to an end, Bowie went to Philadelphia to record the "Young Americans" LP. Upon starting the second leg of the tour, Bowie replaced his band with a new soul lineup and began working this new material into the set list. This show comes from one of the first shows played with the new band. The announcement from the promoter found on other releases is missing from this disc.
