Wait, Don't Run Away!

"As evening fell silently across the land,
I watched, as you knelt to pray.
I heard your prayer requests as
          they entered Heaven.

Do you realize that unspoken words
are a form of prayer? I listen to all
of what My children say. But remember,
not all prayers need to start with,
Our Father. Sometimes a prayer is
a simple thought released to Me
          in faith.

Many think they don't know how to
pray, but I tell you this...

A prayer is just talking with Me.

There are no set rules to praying,
when My children come to Me,
many think there is a certain
way they must stand, or hold
          their hands, they wonder if
          they should stand or kneel.

          Really, all that is needed,
is for them to talk with Me
          and spend time with Me.

One small change I would ask,
is they not jump up and run off
before I have given an answer to
their prayer, and spend some time
          with Me

So many times they come to Me and
whisper the desires of their heart,
yet they jump and run as soon as
they say, Amen. They are in such a
          hurry to begin their day!

They are missing the very best
part of prayer. Don't they know,
prayer time is a two way
          conversation, between us.

          Have a seat, stay, talk
          with Me, and listen to
          what I have to say.
          and allow Me to brighten
          your day!"
