This project was painted with MCW Black Lacquer and top coated with a bunch of clear coats and polished out. The engine compartment is fully detailed. MCG photo etch detail set really trimmed out the details nicely.

This 57 Ford Fairlane 500 was built box stock and was painted with factory correct colors of Coral Sand and Colonial White. This model was my first ever commision build. It was done for a gentleman who, as I discovered thoughout the construction, to be a wealth of knowldge on these old cars. With his input on many of the details, I was able to provide him with a replica of a vehicle his father owned and one which he has fond memories of. While this kit was not the best kit to work with, it turned out to be a fair looker.

This is the second of two replica models I built of my employers work trucks. The work top shell is completely scratch built as is the ladder rack and ladder. The conduit is made from brass tubing and painted light gun metal. For some added interior detail, I included a set of drawings made from an actual cad drwaing scaled down and the NFPA 72 Code book is a photograph of that book scaled down. Just for a little extra show I made some reels of fire rated cable....FPLP as labled!

97 Mustang Cobra – AMT
Although this kit was built box stock, it has been detailed as much as painting will allow. Using metalizer and various black paints, the engine and chassis looks really good. The best part of the model is the interior. I tried something new (for me anyway) by two toning the seats with semi-gloos black on the outer cushions and Exhaust Metalizer for the inserts. This worked out great. The body is painted Testors Artic Blue over black primer. All in all, it's a nice looking model.
1953 Ford F-100 - AMT
This is the first model I built when I decided to seriously build models. Although I have learned so much since then, this is not a bad build. One of the first things I was able to do well was paint and polish. This model was painted, by mistake, Stop Light Red; it was supposed to get a Guards Red finish. I am glad I made that error because this color looks great on the truck. The engine was mildly detailed with plug wires and paint. The finished product really got me fired up to start building and to learn more about the hobby.
1948 Ford Convertible - Revel-Monogram Pro Modeler
This model was built box stock. The exterior paint is Model Master Burgundy Red Metallic and the top and interior are Model Master Interior Tan. This kit went together very well and had fine detail which made it a good Box Stock subject.
53 Ford Crestline Victoria – Lindberg
This was one of the first kits I built when I decided to start building models. It is built box stock and painted with Model Master Pacific Blue. This was an excellent kit with good detail.
64 Galaxy 500 XLT – AMT Pro Shop
This kit came as stock version only. It is a curb side (no engine). I raised the rear end, added after market wheels and tires, tinted the windows using automotive window tint and put a smooth as glass Pacific Blue paint job on it. Added Bare Metal Foil and a wash on the grill work and was rewarded with one fine looking model. This happens to be one of my favorite cars of all time.
95 Mustang Cobra – AMT
I built this kit as a motivator after I found my self not getting any where on two other projects I was working on. I decided I needed to build something and complete it, so searching my pool of kits I chose this one. I built it Box Stock and completed it within a three week period. I must say it did the job of motivating me because it turned out to be some of my best works to date from a technical standpoint. It is very cleanly built and has a very nice paint job. I used lots of different Metalizer paints for a realistic effect under the hood and on the chassis.
