Setting: Dog House Pub (The day after Yet Another Government Secret)
Rebel, Drifter, Lily, Bud, Chase, and Tasha were celebrating their new allegiance with the Road Rovers. Everyone but Rebel, had their Rover tags on their collars, Rebel was holding his in his hands.

TASHA (HAPPY)
I can’t believe it, we are actually Rovers.

REBEL (UNSURE)
I still think it is a bad idea.

DRIFTER (BLUNT)
Rebel, the Road Rovers need all the help they can get against Mad Dog and this new organization, Dog Against Humans.

REBEL (NERVOUS)
I just don’t know.

DRIFTER (BLUNT)
I’m going to get glass of water for Lily and another pitcher for us.

He gets up and heads toward the bar.

LILY (WHISPER)
You haven’t told him about Fetch, haven’t you?

REBEL (WHISPER)
Yeah. I’m afraid that if we tell the Rovers, we will be singled out even more.

CHASE (WHISPER)
Rebel is right. We should reveal this fact when we are well accepted by the Rovers.

BUD (WHISPER)
There are a lot of Rovers protesting us already.

REBEL (WHISPER)
Yeah, especially, Duke, Blitz and Kouv.

Drifter returns to the table.

Setting; RRHQ (Living Area)
Rebel and Bud were helping Drifter and Lily move into a three bedroom living quarters. It has a living room and a kitchen.

DRIFTER (BLUNT)
Thanks for your help.

BUD (BLUNT)
No prob.

Setting: Rec Room
Inside was Duke, Blitz, Krista, Dylan and Scarface. Rebel and Bud enter the room. Once they enter, Duke, Blitz and Scarface stop what they are doing and leave the room. Rebel sighs.

REBEL (UNHAPPY)
Hey Krista.

KRISTA (BLUNT)
Hey Rebel. I see mostly everyone is still ignoring you.

REBEL (UNHAPPY)
Yeah.

DYLAN (REASURING)
Don’t worry, Rebel, it will pass. They didn’t trust me at first. Just ride through it. I’m sure they will trust you in no time.

KRISTA (BLUNT)
He’s right, Rebel.

DYLAN (REASURING)
All you need is a little time, you’ll see.

REBEL (UNHAPPY)
I’m going back to my base. I need time to myelf.

BUD (BLUNT)
See ya, Rebel.

Setting Halls.
As Rebel leaves the Rec Room something thick and sticky falls on Rebel from a bucket hanging overhead.

REBEL (DISGUSTED)
Yuck! What is this stuff? * he sniffs it * (BLUNT) Honey, how original.

He hears giggling from around the corner. Rebel makes his way over and he sees two cadets. Rebel makes his way over to them. Both of them got scared.

REBEL (SLIGHTLY ANNOYED)
Did you do this?

CADET#1 (SCARED)
Please don’t hurt us.

REBEL (SLIGHTLY ANNOYED)
I am not going to hurt you.

CADET #2 (RELIEVED)
You’re not?

REBEL (BLUNT)
I only hurt baddies, not kids

Rebel walks away.

Setting: The Lair
Rebel spent an hour in the shower washing the honey out his fur. He put on some clean clothes. He was really annoyed.

Lily and Bud were in the lair’s rec room.

REBEL (CONFUSED)
What are you doing here Lil?

LILY (SLIGHTLY ANNOYED)
Drifter is being too much of a gentleman.

REBEL (BLUNT)
Well, it is not every day Drifter has someone pregnant with his kids due to a Mad Dog experiment.

Chase and Tasha enter the room and both of them are angry.

BUD (CONCERNED)
What happened to you?

CHASE (ANNOYED)
The other cadets treated us like shit. You were right, Rebel, it was a bad idea to join the Rovers.

Tasha punched the wall and growls.

LILY (CONCERNED)
What’s with her?

CHASE (BLUNT)
You don’t want to know.

Rebel’s cell phone rings. He picks it up.

REBEL (BLUNT)
Hello.

VOICE (VOICE ONLY, DEEP VOICE, BLUNT)
Hello, brother.

REBEL (GROWLS)
Fetch.

The rest of Rebel’s team gasp.

FETCH (VOICE ONLY)
Don’t get angry, Rebel, all I want to do is talk.

REBEL (GROWLS)
I don’t want anything to do with you.

FETCH (VOICE ONLY)
Rebel, all I want to do is talk. Meet me in the parking garage near WWE New York tonight, come alone and no tracers or communicators.

Rebel thinks for a moment.

REBEL (BLUNT)
Only if you promise not to bring any of your goons or weapons.

FETCH (VOICE ONLY)
I promise.

Rebel hangs up.

TASHA (ANNOYED)
You’re not actually going to meet with him.

REBEL (BLUNT)
Maybe I can talk some sense in him.

LILY (ANNOYED)
Fetch won’t listen to you and you know that.

REBEL (BLUNT)
I have to try.

CHASE (BLUNT)
Then we are coming with you.

REBEL (BLUNT)
He said come alone.

SETTING: ROAD ROVER HQ (HANGERBAY)
Rebel left on Cycle (his cycleborg).

SETTING: PARKING GARAGE  (Night time)
Rebel got off of Cycle.

CYCLE (MACHINE VOICE)
Good luck, Rebel.

REBEL (BLUNT)
Thanks, Cycle.

Rebel looks around looking for any sign of Fetch.

Setting: Above Rebel
Above Rebel was a greyhound in Special Ops uniform and had nightvision goggles on his eyes.. His black fur and uniform easily blended into the darkness. The gun that was held in his hands was aiming at Rebel.

Setting: RRHQ (Rovers of the World Conference Room)
All the teams were having an evaluation of the Lone Dog Team. Master is watching from the balcony.

Kouv (blunt)
I will never trust them.

Dariz (annoyed)
They think they can take my place? Nope!

Sedona (blunt)
Just more people to annoy me.

Krista (blunt)
If you guys at least give them a chance to prove themselves and give them the light of day, they could be powerful allies.

Winston (slight annoyed)
Allies, oh jeez. They are worst team to join the Rovers. They were once enemies to us. Especially Mr. old leader of that team.

Drifter (annoyed)
Hey!!! My friends and I are only trying to help. The six of us know more about the DAH and Mad Dog than you guys do.

Roughhouse (blunt)
Your friends caused more trouble since you joined.

Thunder (annoyed)
That last mission when you and your friends were going after Mad Dog with the Outcast Strayers and Muzzle, the mission failed and everyone was wounded including our weapon of mass destruction, Muzzle.

Drifter snorts.

Drifter (thinking)
If everyone knew who you really were Thunder, everyone will be treating you the same way.

Master stands up.

Master (blunt)
Rovers, I decided that The Lone Dog team is staying.

Half of all the Rovers (shocked)
WHAT?!

Master (blunt)
I giving them a chance. I also what you guys to treat Drifter, Rebel, Bud, Lily, Chase, and Tasha with respect.

Setting: Outside the Conference Room
Everyone is filing out of the room. Bud, Lily, Chase, and Tasha are waiting outside the conference room. Drifter exits and walks up to the team.

Chase (blunt)
What happened?

Drifter (blunt)
Master is still letting you stay. He also told the other Rovers to treat you guys with more respect.

Lily (blunt)
Good.

Drifter (confused)
Where is Rebel?

Bud, Lily, Chase, and Tasha look at each other.

Bud (blunt)
He had "family business" to take care of.

Setting: Above Rebel
The Greyhound is looking through the scope. It is pointed at Rebel's chest. His hand moves toward the trigger. He fires.

The bullet hits Rebel square in the chest. Rebel clenched in pain. He sees the shooter.

The greyhound jumps from the hiding spot and comes face to face with Rebel. He takes out a pistol and shoots. Rebel dodges the bullet and hits the ground. The greyhound walks over to Rebel.

Greyhound (blunt)
Here a present from your brother.

The greyhound shoots Rebel in the heart. Rebel blacks out.

<Next Morning>

Rebel wakes up. He is quite annoyed.

Rebel (Weak)
I hate when that happens. (Yelling) Cycle!!!

Cycle comes rolling in.

Cycle (Concerned)
Are you okay, Rebel?

Rebel (Weak)
I'm fine.

Rebel climbs on Cycle. Rebel drives away.

Setting: RRHQ (Hangerbay)
Rebel drives in.  He Rebel parks and gets off.

Setting: Halls of RRHQ
Rebel is walking through the halls. Bud passes him.

Bud (blunt)
How did it go?

Rebel (annoyed)
It didn't.

Lily comes from behind Rebel.

Lily (blunt)
Did you find Fetch?

Rebel (annoyed)
No.

Drifter is talking to XL766 and then he sees Rebel and walks over.

Drifter (blunt)
I been trying to reach you.

Rebel (annoyed)
I turned off my comlink.

Rebel walks in the Lounge. Tasha sees him and follows him in.

Tasha (concerned)
Is everything okay?

Rebel (annoyed)
I got my ass kicked.

Rebel sits down on one of the sofas depressed.

<FADE OUT>

Later that Month.

<FADE IN>

Setting:  Dog House Pub
Rebel was sitting at the bar drinking a beer. Jake (Border Collie) was the bartender and good friend of the Lone Dog Team.

Jake (blunt)
I know you're not the kind of dog that adapts to new situations.

Rebel (unhappy)
How do you know that?

Jake (blunt)
Cycle told me. He told me how frustrated you got when Drifter disappeared.

Rebel sighed. A female border collie/golden retriever comes down the stairs from where the boarding rooms were.

Female Cano-sapien (blunt)
Thank you again for letting me spent the night here.

Jake (blunt)
You're welcome. So what's your name?

Female Cano-sapien (blunt)
Breeze.

Rebel (unhappy)
Nice name.

Breeze (concerned)
What's wrong?

Rebel (unhappy)
Nothing.

Breeze (stern)
I'm not stupid something is troubling you.

Chase, Sam, and Dylan come in. They are carrying Street Luges under their arms.

Chase (happy)
Didn't I tell you guys it was fun.

Dylan (blunt)
That was interesting. *He spots Breeze* who is this pretty pup?

They walk over to the bar.

Dylan (flirting with Breeze)
Hello, pretty lady.

Breeze ignores him.

Breeze (blunt)
How about this, I'll tell you one of my problems and you tell me yours.

Rebel (unhappy)
Your problem is probably not as big as mine.

Breeze (stern)
Try me.

Rebel (blunt)
Shoot.

Breeze (blunt)
My twin sister is my problem.

Chase (confused)
Your twin sister?

Breeze (blunt)
She works for Mad Dog and she is one of Gregon's right hand dogs. Rose, that's here name, hates my guts. She is in charge of recapturing me and friends of mine. If she was commanded to kill on sight, I would be dead by now.

Dylan (blunt)
I know what you mean. My brother, Jake, he works for Parvo. He tried to Cano-mutate me once and at any chance he gets he tries to kill me.

Rebel (shocked)
You mean you all have evil sibs.

Breeze (blunt)
Is that your problem, an evil sibling?

Rebel nods.

Dylan (blunt)
You can tell us.

Rebel sighs.

Rebel (unhappy)
My brother is the leader of the DAH.

Dylan (shocked)
Fetch is your brother?

Rebel nods.

Sam (blunt)
I get it. You don't want to fight your own brother.

Rebel (unhappy)
Yes. He was a good dog when he was pup. Mad Dog made him the way he is today.

A group of cano-sapiens in Mad Dog uniforms enter the bar. One of them looked almost like Breeze. All of them were carrying weapons.

Rose (blunt)
I want everyone's attention.

Everyone in the pub is still talking.  One of Cano-sapien soldiers shoots at the ceiling. Everyone in the bar silences.

Jake (annoyed)
Hey, no shooting weapons in here. I just patched up the ceiling because of XL766 and Winston last week.

Rose (smug)
I don't think so.

Breeze (scared)
Get lost, Rose.

Rose (smug)
I don't think so, sister. You're coming with us.

Breeze is really scared. She cowers behind Sam.

Rebel (stern)
Leave the kid alone.

Suddenly both of the cano-sapiens soldiers begin to choke and grab at their necks.

<IN SOLDIERS MIND>

There is a python around their neck

<END>

Sam (confused)
What the hell is going on?

The soldiers pass out. Jake takes out his rifle and points it at Rose.

Jake (stern)
I suggest you leave.

Rose (stern)
Be warned, sister. I will get you.

Rose leaves. Breeze relaxes.

Breeze (happy)
Thank you so much.

Rebel (blunt)
No prob.

Chase (confused)
What I want to know is what the hell happened to the soldiers?

Breeze (blunt)
I did that with my powers. I'm a telempath.

Sam (blunt)
Meaning . . .

Breeze (blunt)
I can control people's thoughts and emotions.

Dylan (amazed)
I never heard of such a power.

Breeze (blunt)
I better leave. Rose will be back with more soldiers.

Sam (blunt)
Can I offer you a ride?

Breeze (smiles)
Okay. Thanks.

Breeze goes upstairs to get her things and then she leaves with Sam.

Chase (blunt)
Lucky dog.

Dylan (blunt)
Yep.

Setting: RRHQ (Rec Room)
Rebel, Chase, Dylan, Chaser and Krista are sitting around the rec room. Sam comes in wearing a big smile.

Chaser (blunt)
Why are you so happy about?

Sam (happy)
I think I got a girlfriend.

Rebel (blunt)
Why's that?

Sam (happy)
Breeze said I was cute.

Chaser (confused)
Who's Breeze?

Dylan (blunt)
A girl we met in the bar that Mad Dog was after.

Chaser (blunt)
Must be one of those escapees Drifter told me about.

Chase (confused)
Huh?

Drifter walks in.

Chase (blunt)
Bro, what's this I hear of more Mad Dog escapees?

Drifter (confused)
What are you talking about?

Rebel (stern)
You didn't mention there are more escapees than just you.

Sam (blunt)
We met one today. Her name is Breeze.

Drifter is shocked.

Drifter (stern)
Where did you see her?

Dylan (blunt)
So you do know about other Mad Dog escapees.

Drifter (stern)
Was she alone?

Sam (blunt)
Yep.

Drifter (underbreath, annoyed)
I told those three to look after her.

Everyone is confused.

Chase (confused)
You know more?

Drifter (blunt)
I don't know how many escaped. I escaped with my assigned unit who also wanted out. Their names are Xander, Vera, Padfoot and Breeze.

Rebel (blunt)
How come I didn't know about this?

Drifter (stern)
I didn't want you to know about Mad Dog.

Loudspeaker (Canis)
All available Rover report to the briefing room. There is a hostage situation.

Setting: Briefing Room
Rebel and his team (minus Lily and Drifter) arrive in the briefing room. Inside already were the Road Rovers, Bobcat Strayers (minus Amber), L33t team (minus XL766) and the Galaxy Rovers.

Krista (happy)
Hi Rebel.

Rebel (happy)
Hey Krista.

Winston (annoyed)
Get lost. We don't want you and your team here.

Blitz (annoyed)
Ja.

Kouv (annoyed)
Why don't you just phase out of here?

Sheila smacks Kouv.

Sheila (stern)
Kouv!

Master appears on the balcony. Rebel, Bud, Chase and Tasha sit down.

Master (blunt)
Good evening Rovers. In New York, a group called Allah Jihad are holding hostiles in The Metropolitan Museum of Art. Some of the hostages are children.

All the Rovers are shocked.

Master (blunt)
Rover, you are to rescue the hostages. Until XL766 and Amber show up Krista is in charge of the L33t team and Rebel is in charge of the Bobcat Strayers.

Bobcat Strayers (shocked)
What?!

Winston (annoyed)
You can't do this, Master.

Master (blunt)
Anyone that is not willing to work with Rebel and his team will not go on this mission.

The Bobcat Strayers growl.

Setting: RR Hangerbay
Rebel is getting on his cycleborg. Winston comes up to him.

Winston (annoyed)
Remember, when Amber shows up, you back off.

Rebel growls.

Rebel (Mad)
I am so sick and tried of you guys treating my like dirt. If you don't want to work with me or my team, you should back off.

Bud (shocked)
Wow, I never seen Rebel so angry.

Tasha (shocked)
Yeah.

Winston is shaken.

Rebel (stern)
Do you got that, Winston?

Winston (shaken, weak)
Yes.

Krista (calling)
Is it okay that Alec goes with you guys?

Rebel (blunt)
Sure. *smiles evily* He can ride with Coyota.

Coyota (annoyed)
Hell no. He is not ride with me.

<FADE OUT>

<FADE IN>

Setting: NY streets.
Coyota is driving her cycle rover with Alec sitting behind her holding his arms around her chest.

Coyota (blunt)
Alec.

Alec (blunt)
Yeah.

Coyota (slightly annoyed)
Watch the paws.

Alec (blunt)
I'm just trying to hang on here.

Coyota (slightly annoyed)
Hang on a little lower.

Alec moves his arms down lower.

Coyota (annoyed)
Not that low!

Rebel snickers to himself.

Setting: Outside of The Metropolitan Museum of Art
Everyone parks in front of the museum. The NYPD has the building surrounded.

Krista (commanding)
Kouv, Sheila.

Kouv & Sheila (blunt)
Yeah.

Krista (commanding)
Get on the top of that roof of that building and prepare to take out any terrorist that comes near the windows. Don't shoot yet. The NYPD has a negotiator coming in.

Rebel (commanding)
Winston, Bud, Chase cover the other entrance. Coyota, Newman take watch at the other building. Keep at watch on the terrorists on the roof.

Everyone who were given commands leaves.

Hunter gives orders to his crew and then talk to the NYPD. He then comes over to Rebel and Krista.

Rebel (blunt)
What do the terrorists want?

Hunter (blunt)
They want all US troops out of all the Islamic countries.

Rebel (Sarcastic)
Like that will ever happen.

Krista (calling)
Scarface, Mark, Napoleon back up Winston, Chase and Bud. Yamotto, Diamond, Alec work with the NYPD.

They nodded and go to their duties. XL766 and Amber com into view.

Hunter
About time you guys got here.

XL766
Sorry, we had something to take care of before we got here, so what's up?

Rebel
Well, some terrorist group calling themselves "Allah's Jihad" have taken control of the museum and have threaten to kill hostages until their demands are met.

Amber
What are their demands?

Hunter
The complete removal of the US from Afghanistan and every other Islamic country around the world.

XL766 (Sarcastic)
Like that will ever happen.

Hunter
Exactly, which is why it's only a matter of time until guns start going off in there.

XL766
Well then, let's move in.

Rebel
One problem, there's about twenty Islamic extremist in there, and they have the hostages guarded well. If we move in, some hostages are going to die.

Amber
Do we have a negotiator?

Hunter
Yeah, the NYPD has one trying to talk to them.

Hunter motions over to a man in a trench coat with a loudspeaker.

Setting: Rooftop
Kouv and Sheila are watching from the roof.

Kouv (annoyed)
I still can't believe our date was interrupted.

Sheila (blunt)
There will be other times Kouv.

Sheila smiles at him and then returns her attention to the situation.

Setting: Below
Same as before.

Negotiator (Into loudspeaker)
Hello?

One of the terrorists come into view from a second story window.

Terrorist (Thick Middle Eastern Accent)
Who are you?

Negotiator
I'm here to talk to you.

Terrorist
Good. Have our demands been met yet?

Negotiator
We're working on that. However, we need a test of your good faith.

Terrorist
Infidel, we do not need to show our good faith.

Negotiator
Ok, but come on now, there's a few kids in there. Show us that we can trust you when your demands are met by releasing those kids.

Terrorist
Fine you filthy American pig!

The terrorist waves his hand and a minute later, the front doors and three kids are pushed out. The Negotiator smiles along with all of the Road Rovers. Then, the terrorist waves his hand. Several more terrorist run up to the windows and pull out their AK-47's and aim them at the kids they just released. Everything goes into slow- motion. XL766 pulls out a handgun and fires up at the terrorist. Sheila (who was talking to Kouv) pulls out her PSG-1 and fires it at the terrorist. The entire NYPD and SWAT open fire as well. Hunter runs towards the kids, but Yamotto is already there and deflecting all of the bullets with his sword. The other Road Rovers pull out guns (both real and Petri) and fire up at the terrorists. Everything goes back to normal. Only one terrorist is killed in the fire fight, but none of the kids are harmed. Yamotto takes them back to the cops and Road Rovers.

Yamotto
That was too close.

Hunter
Yeah, we need to get a plan going before anything else bad happens.

Rebel (Worried)
Where's XL766?

Amber
I don't know, he was here when the gun fight started.

Yamotto
I think I know where XL766-san is.

Hunter (Mad)
Great! XL766 is probably in there raising hell and getting hostages killed.

Rebel
Hey now Hunter, if anyone has a chance in there it's XL766.

Amber (Worried)
I hope he's ok.

Gunshots can be heard. The terrorist runs up to the window again.

Terrorist (Mad)
I thought you said that you wouldn't come in after us.

Setting: Sheila's sniper POV.
The cross hairs are lined up at the Terrorist's head.

Kouv (Voice only)
Are you sure you want to do this?

Sheila
Yup, these are the worst kind of people on Earth, and need to be killed.

A loud bang goes off and the terrorist instantly drops dead. More gunshots are heard inside. Moments later Hunter comes on the roof.

Hunter (Mad)
What were you thinking?

Sheila (Sarcastic)
Something along the lines of "Eat this you heartless bastard".

Hunter
Well, maybe that wasn't the best question to ask, but still, you can't go trigger happy like that.

More gun shots go off. The terrorists on the roof disappear into the building.

Sheila
So, I can't, but XL766 can?

Hunter
Don't worry Sheila, I'll have a word for him when he comes out.

Hunter looks at Kouv.

Kouv (nervous)
Don't look at me, Hunter, I was trying to stop her.

Setting Below
Gunshots are going off.

Alec
That should leave about three, (another gunshot goes off) make that two terrorists left.

Rebel
He certainly is making progress in there.

A terrorist goes out of the window and lands on the ground, dead.

XL766 leads all of the hostages out. Amber runs over to him and hugs him and then slaps him. Amber starts yelling at him.

Rebel (To Hunter)
You are going to have a talk to him, right?

Hunter (To Rebel)
Nah, I think Amber's doing a good job of that.

Setting: RRHQ (A month and a half later) (Medical Bay)
(During "Shock of the New")Rebel was working his shift in the medical bay. Suddenly Drifter brusts in carrying Lily in his arms. He is followed by Breeze and three other cano-sapiens.

Drifter (yelling)
We need a doctor here, Lil is going into labour.

Rebel rushes over. Colleen brings a wheelchair. Drifter sets Lily on it. Colleen followed by Canis took her into a nearby room. Drifter sits down in the waiting room.

Breeze (blunt)
Hey Rebel.

Rebel (blunt)
Hi Breeze. Who are this guys?

Breeze (blunt)
*points to German Shepherd/Golden Lab* That Xander.

Xander shakes Rebel's hand.

Xander (English accent, blunt)
Everyone calls me, Xan.

Malumute  (blunt)
I'm Vera.

Rhodesian Ridgeback  (blunt)

I'm Padfoot.

Drifter (blunt)

Rebel, can you take Vera to Hubert. Those Mad Dog guys put an implant in her neck that disables her powers.

Rebel (blunt)

Sure thing Drift.

Sam comes in the hall. Breeze smiles at him and he blushes.

Setting: Hubert's Lab
Hubert was looking at the implant on Vera's neck. Rebel was looking on. A moment later, Vera was able to use her freezing powers again.

Hubert (blunt)
We will set up a time to surgery remove the implant.

Vera (happy)
Thanks.

Setting: Lily's hospital room
Rebel was in the room with Drifter and Lily. Drifter was holding his son, Snatcher. Lily was holding her daugher, Daisy. Rebel was holding Stalker, Drifter's other son.
