John Richard McLin
John Richard McLin, b 01 February 1858 in Louisiana, d 10 July 1941 in Livingston, Louisiana. He was the son of Thomas McLin and Eran F. Harveson. He married Serena Charlotte Stafford, b 08 December 1867 in Louisiana, d 03 September 1908 in Livingston, Louisiana. She was the daughter of Hiram F. Stafford and Ellender Jane Gertman. They had 11 children together, two of which died at birth.
Their children are:
1. Fieldon Lafayette McLin, b 01 December 1887, d 17 February 1970.
2. Thomas Acy McLin, b 26 October 1889, d 29 June 1893.
3. Boy McLin, b & d 31 August 1891.
4. John Robert McLin, b 05 August 1892 in Doyle, Louisiana, d 22 July 1988 in Livingston, Louisiana.
5. Girl McLin, b & d 31 May 1894.
6. George Washington McLin, b 15 May 1895, d 20 February 1899.
7. Ellender Ferryn McLin, b 11 July 1897 in Livingston, Louisiana.
8. Lura Izella McLin, b 20 July 1899.
9. Angeline McLin, b 09 September 1901, d 06 April 1986.
10. William Bartholomew McLin, b 10 April 1904, d 15 May 1995.
11. Joseph Prentis McLin, b 20 June 1906 in Livingston, Louisiana, d December 1981.
