Notes For Ms. Cherub Chubb - Shrub, Princess of Pickiness -
Cherub is a soft young woman built on a sturdier frame than her life has called for. In a world of slim leggy perfection she is remarkably average.. or rather, unremarkably so. Nothing about her build suggests that she has experienced manual labor, excessive luxury, or for that matter anything which would draw her out of doors long enough to color from the sun. Generally of a sweet and submissive disposition, she has a kind and expressive face, naturally befreckled as is the rest of her, tending toward softness at the cheek and jowl with chestnut eyes that are dark and rich, reflecting her emotions potently as she feels them. She has a tendency to hunch her rounded shoulders, arms tucked close around her current burden, generally a stack of books and parcels or one of her precious music boxes. She is of both average height and average weight for a human female of her age, which of course means that she is both short and over weight, thicker in the hip and thigh and belly than she would like. She tends toward long concealing garments in sober colors, simple and plain and resistant to the various stains and dampness which result from the excessive drooling of her constant basset hound companion, Cat. She wears no jewelry at all and her ears appear unpierced as opposed to human tradition. Her dark brown hair is thick and straight, cut in a single line between chin and shoulder and she keeps it tucked behind her ears though sections often escape and require retucking. Both self conscious regarding her appearance as well as loathe to 'improve' it in any way, she has buried her personal concerns in her work and responsabilities. Her world is one of scholarship and order, libraries and study where she can lose herself in the myriad students and instructors, blending into the background, aside from the classes she teaches herself, preferring to remain unnoticed and unremarked upon, while at the same time wishing very much that someone would.

Joseph Wildwind:Headmaster of the Wildwind School of Magic
A human man of medium build who looks to be in his mid 20's, Joseph stands close to 6ft tall. He has green eyes and stubble on his chin which he rubs thoughtfully at times, his brown hair is near shoulder length and unbound. Dressed in what looks to be nice travlers clothes, a variety of pouches and a short sword hang from his belt and he is often accompanied by a raven which perches on his right shoulder. Adorning the raven's throat is silver choker. An exceedingly polite man, Joseph is conscious of the formality of his position but prefers more casual and jocular associations, encouraging passion in the student body but within reason and within the range of proper protocol.

Walter:An Orkish man escorting me back to the school
Walter is quite huge compared to Cherub, though as orks go he seems be around middling height, about 6 and a half feet tall, maybe an inch or so shorter, but quite thick and broader than many of his fellows, with massive shoulders and a thick, heavy back. He has long arms, quite musculer, with heavy, powerful forearms and long, dexterous fingers, though he is pretty Orkish, his motions can be seen at times as slightly effeminate, his fingers and hands seeming quite adapt at intricate work. His face is a little rough as orks go, his tusks being a tad more pronounced then his fellows, a little more fearsome, but this is countered by an open, friendly countanence and his deep seagreen eyes, bright and alert, seeming to take in a lot of detail in what they see. He has a gold tooth in front, perhaps a few more that are more well hidden, and a long goatee that he strokes when in thought, his hair too is somewhat long and worn loosely, dark in colour, a very deep brown and almost black. His torso is musculer and thick, like a strongmans, but a strongman who enjoys good cooking and drink, as evidanced by a prominant beer gut, with a light coating of dark hair over his chest and belly. he also has a long, musculer neck and thick, beefy sloping traps...the body of a strongman with the gestures and manual grace of a fine artisan, and an open, friendly, if not handsome, face...also, his skin is a greyish-green, I believe you may have called it a "stone" colour? Oh, he also has kinda short legs, which Im assuming is pretty normal for an Ork, which gives him an odd gait.

I actually teach some low level and auxillary classes here.. "Fabulous Familiars" "Understanding Different Casting Styles" "Getting Comfortable with Components" "Seeing in Color: A System for Identifying Different Magical Signatures" all under the table of course.. I mean, until now, so I hear at least.
"I guess my classes go pretty well, I try not to push too hard not that I really could since I didn't have much time for a life either.. Fabulous Familiars is a primer on different familiars and their pros and cons, how they can help you out in different ways and knowing what kind is right for you.. You don't always know what kind of familiar is best right off you know. Understanding Different Casting Styles is just that, learning the differences between how magic is used differently by the various practicioners. The jump from Wizard magic to Sorcery is pretty easy for most to grasp, but channeling can be tricky for a lot of students.. Comfortable with Components is more of the same, I try to come up with easy ways for students to remember which components they need for which kinds of spell families.. Actually my Seeing in Color class is the most interesting, less rote memory work and more personal intepretation. I think its more engaging to the students.."

Family: Mom named me, thought it was Really cute, but we still mostly get along, not that I've seen her more than a handful of times in the last 8-9 years.
Dad was the quiet disciplinarian, strong farming stock, spoke more with hand than switch than words. As the eldest Cherub bore the brunt. Too often an example to keep her four younger siblings in line: Pater, Winslo, Dorothy, Angel
