Shelley was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She attended kindergarten at Judson Baptist Church in Walker, Louisiana. She went to Levi Milton Elementary from first grade through sixth grade. She then went on to Walker Junior High and attended Denham Springs High before graduating from Walker High School in 1997. Following graduation, Shelley enrolled at Southeastern Louisiana University and was a student there at the time of her death. 
I wanted to make this website for Shelley, to honor her memory. For 14 years of her life, Shelley was a part of my family. She often confided in me and I never saw her that she didn't say "I love you". I hope these pages will reflect my love for her. I also pray that Shelley's parents, Jim and Peggy, will find comfort in knowing that Shelley's memory will live on.
