A player or team will be rewarded a minimum of zero
points regardless of his "calculated" total. i.e. A player/team
cannot end the day with a negative total.
* KIckers shall be rewarded
yardage and scoring points and penalized for turnovers as is consistent
with the other player positions.
* Negative yardage for
individuals is not included when calculating points from yardage
statistics. i.e. A quarterback who rushes for -5 yds would receive
zero points in the rushing category.
* There are no points rewarded
for offensive special team td's(punt and kick returns). Only DEFENSIVE
special team's can be rewarded.
* If any offensive team
relinquishes the ball, that team will now be deemed the defense.
The owner of that defense may be rewarded fantasy points based
on the scoring method listed above. "The McCardell Rule." * In the event of any other
abnormal scoring scenarios, official NFL scoring will be
consulted, and a majority vote from the league will determine
how the fantasy points will be distributed.
League Schedule/Structure
The season shall consist of 13 weeks synchronized with the pro season.
A team will play each of the 4 other teams from their division exactly
two times, of which
he/she shall be the home team and the visiting team once, respectively.
Each team will also play interdivisional opponents once. The breakdown
of home/away/neutral games will be 2/2/1. The schedule is selected
randomly with true unbiasedness.
Playoffs and the Championship
After completion of the 13 week season the top three teams in each
division along with the next two teams with the best record will
compete in a playoff. Tie-breaker rules apply. The division winners
are rewarded with the #1 and #2 spots in the playoffs. For seeding,
matchups and homefield advantage refer to the playoff brackets.
Tie-Breaker
In the event of a tie at the conclusion of the regular season, the
following criteria will used to determine seeding:
- Head-to Head: If there is a tie, then the best record against
all inclusive parties shall deem the champion
- Highest Point Total
- Divisional Record
Adding/Dropping Players
Players("players" shall refer to individual
players and defensive positions) that are not on rosters(free
agents) can be picked up on first come-first serve basis.
If a player is dropped from a team, they are placed on the waiver
line for a period of one full day. If more than one person is interested
in picking up the player, then he shall be rewarded to the team
with
the worst record(the tie-breaker shall be used if necessary). The
waiver pickup time is 12:00a.m after the one day(begins at 12:00
a.m. after being dropped.) A team may drop "interest" of
a player at anytime, while he is on waivers.
A team is alloted 2 free agents pickups or a total of 4 pickups
if a trade is involved, per week. Any
player picked up by a new team(FA, waiver, trade), must remain
on that team
through 2 games before being dropped or traded.
Lineups are due 15 minutes before kickoff(12:45p.m. on sunday games.
We've been lenient, but please try to abide.).
At no time may a team's roster exceed 19 players. Any player participating
any given week may only play in one game for that week, and must
remain
on his team until the conclusion of that week(monday night).
The last week for trades between teams is week 10. This does not
include free agency or waiver pickups.
Discrepancies, Complaints, and Inquiries
This is OUR LEAGUE , and it is meant to be a means
of enjoyment for a group of hoodlum football fans. It is not owned
or operated by any individual, but is the exclusive property of the
whole group. If at any time someone feels slighted or needs any aspect
of its existence or operation clarified, then we shall take a vote
with the majority opinion being accepted as the truth. Ain't this
some fun shit?
