Finally deer season is here again, and I m so excited! I have waited a whole year just for this momemt. That is all that me and my wife have talked about. We could hardly wait! I know that opening morning, my wife and I both had the fever so bad. We couldn't wait to get to our stand.
It wasn't to cold the first morning, and we were ready to go. We finally got in the stand and got setup before daylight. The rut was in full swing and we started seeing deer early, just after daylight.
At about 8 oclock we were sitting there, when we heard something coming. It was three young bucks chasing a doe. They ran all around our stand for 30 minutes or so. It was so exciting just to see them. They finally ran over into the hollow out of sight.
It wasn't long until we heard leaves crackling behind us. We slowly turned around, and there stood the prettiest buck that we have ever seen.
It was an 8 point buck, but it was an albino. It was so white, just like snow. We watched him as he slowly walked under our stand, and then out of sight.
There was no way I was going to take that buck. It was the fist albino buck I had ever seen.
We didn't get a buck that day but we sure had fun! And it was only the first day of hunting. We still had lots of time to get one.
My wife and I wanted to share this with you. We hope you enjoyed reading it.
