Chapter 62
~3 weeks later~
Jasmine, Kristen, and Mandy and just finished doing a TV special about the group that was to be aired on MTV in a few weeks and they were getting their stuff together to leave. "So are you excited about telling AJ what you discovered during our lunch break today?" Jasmine asked Kristen.
"Of course," Kristen said with a smile on her face.
"I don’t know how you do it girl," Mandy said.
"Do what?"
"Balance your whole family deal and your career at the same time. I can barely handle the career and the boyfriend."
"That’s what I have you two and AJ for. He helps me with the family thing and you two help me with the career thing. How are you guys and your boys doing anyways?" Kristen asked curiously.
"I’m moving in with Dallas next week," Mandy said with a smile on her face.
"Oh really? That should be interesting," Howie said coming up behind Jasmine and wrapping his arms around her waist. Jasmine lightly elbowed him in the stomach as if to tell him not to say anything about Dallas and Mandy dating.
"I’m just going to leave now. I’ll see you guys later," Mandy said walking away.
"I better go too, bye you two," Kristen said giving Jasmine and Howie a hug.
"Good luck telling AJ the news," Jasmine said with a smile on her face as Kristen walked away to catch up with Mandy.
"What news?" Howie asked.
"I’m sure you’ll find out soon enough. And do me a favor and just bite your tongue about Mandy dating Dallas."
"I’m sorry Jas but you know I can’t stand the guy after what he tried with Toni."
"I know but Toni got over so so should you. Besides he’s good to Mandy."
"I’ll try for you, babe," Howie said kissing her on the cheek then grabbing her hand as he led her to his car. About half an hour later Kristen pulled up to her house to see Toni’s green prowler in the driveway. She walked in the house to see Toni there along with Nick just talking with AJ.
"Hey babe!" Toni said going up to her and giving her a hug.
"Hey, how you feeling so far?"
"Oh I would say she’s just fine," Nick said answering for her. "Now that she’s pregnant she acts like she’s completely helpless, and she’s barely two months along."
"So. You try carrying a baby for months and see if you would be helpless," Kristen said and Toni just smiled at Nick.
"How did the recording go for the special?" AJ asked handing her a whining baby.
"Um…it went really great but there’s something I need to talk to you about."
"Uh oh, should we leave? Because I’m really not in the mood to hear any fighting," Toni said.
"We’re not going to be fighting," Kristen said going into the kitchen and getting a bottle for Mariah. "But I do need to talk to him alone so chill out or something in the living room and we’ll be right back," she said grabbing AJ’s hand and pulling him into the baby’s room as she laid Mariah down in her crib.
"So what happened?" AJ asked and Kristen wrapped her arms around his neck and stood on her toes as she lightly kissed him on the lips. "Now that’s the way I like to start a serious conversation, come here," AJ said sitting down in the rocking chair and pulling Kristen onto his lap. "What happened?"
"Okay don’t say anything until I’m finished okay?" Kristen asked and AJ nodded his head in agreement. "Okay here goes. We both know that in the last few months we’ve gone without using any type of protection a couple of times so when I skipped my period I decided to go to the doctor’s office during our lunch break today and I found out that…"
"You’re pregnant?" AJ asked and Kristen nodded her head and he started laughing.
"What is so funny?"
"Nothing I just think it’s cute how you act all nervous about telling me like I would be mad at you or something."
"I know but Mariah is only seven months old. She’s still a baby and we’re already getting ready to have another one. We’re lucky that we are able to handle one with our careers but do you really think we’ll actually be able to handle two?"
"Don't worry about it. We'll be able to handle it," AJ said reassuringly. "It's the changing of two dirty diapers that I'm worried about," he said causing Kristen to laugh. Kristen leaned down for a passionate kiss with AJ when they were interrupted by Toni's screaming. Kristen and AJ walked into the living room to see Toni having a spaz attack jumping up and down smacking Nick as he tried to duck away from her.
"What are you doing?" Kristen asked and Toni grabbed her and started squeezing the life out of her.
"We can be pregnant together!" she screamed.
"You were listening?" Kristen asked when she let go of her.
"Sorry I couldn't help it!"
"You mean to tell me you are pregnant...again?" Nick asked and Kristen nodded her head. "Oh hell no. Toni, you are moving your ass here, AJ, you are coming and living with me."
"What the hell?" Toni asked confused.
"Toni I love you dearly and I know you know that and I was willing to help you through this pregnancy thing but if she is pregnant too you can forget it. You two will be around each other all the time and I'm sorry I just don't think I could handle it or AJ. So one of you better get un-pregnant, preferably Kristen, you already have one."
"Damn," Toni said thinking about the last sentence Nick said. "Kristen, them babies of yours will only be a year and four months apart. Are you going to be popping out a kid every year or something?"
"Toni I don't find you a bit funny."
"I do. Come on let's go watch this tape I brought in your room while AJ and Nick talk about how to spoil us rotten," Toni said grabbing Kristen and pulling her into her bedroom. They sat down on the bed and Toni put the tape in the VCR. "I want to show you part of our honeymoon right before my baby was conceived."
"I don't want to see you two getting it on, Toni."
"You won't, I'll stop it before that happens. Nick doesn't know I got this recorded so don't tell him," she said as she pressed play and fast forwarded through her giving Nick a lap dance. Kristen just looked at her weird until Toni pressed play again on the VCR and Kristen saw Nick coming out of the bathroom wearing a towel that he soon dropped revealing him in a green thong. Kristen's mouth about dropped to the floor and she watched him dance around. Toni just sat there with a smile on her face watching it.
"This is some freaky ass porn shit!" Kristen yelled and Toni smacked her.
"Shhh! I don't want Nick or AJ to come in here." Kristen continued to watch when Nick did his pelvic thrust and he popped out of the thong. She started busting up laughing so hard that she fell off the bed and hit her head on the night stand causing her to scream. AJ ran into the bedroom followed by Nick who immediately saw what was on the screen and he took the tape out as fast as he could. Kristen was on the floor holding the side of her head laughing and crying so hard she couldn't speak and could barely breath.
"What the hell did you do to her?" AJ asked helping her up off the floor.
"Pop went the weasel!" Kristen screamed once she caught her breath and started busting up laughing again. Toni couldn't help but laugh but she immediately stopped when she saw Nick was glaring at her then started lecturing her while AJ tried to get Kristen to calm down and take a few breaths. All the noise in the room caused Mariah to wake up screaming.
"That is our cue to leave, let's go," Nick said grabbing Toni's hand and pulling her out of the bedroom and the house.
"What the hell was that all about?" AJ asked when Kristen calmed down a little.
"Trust me, you don't want to know," she said going into the baby's room.
