Content With Myself
I'm content with myself
and who I've become,
A daughter, a wife,
A friend and a mom.
I haven't been blessed
With fame, or with wealth
I'm blessed with loving family,
my friends, and good health
There have been times
I tried and I failed,
So I continued to try,
And finally preveiled.
The contentment I have
comes from within,
I know who I am,
I know who I've been.
I'm content with myself,
I have all that I need,
I'm content with myself,
and the life that I lead.
In the sum of all things,
My life has been good,
There's little I'd change,
If I knew that I could.
