“So Cassie what do you wanna do?” Trevor asked as he lay on his stomach and looked at Cassandra from the bed. It was pouring blankets outside and Cassandra’s parents had guests over. They were stuck in her room. Cassandra flipped on her computer.

“There is always the manipulation of people’s minds in a chatroom…” Trevor gave an evil smile and grabbed the chair next to her. Cassandra entered a public chat labeled ‘Teen Small Talk’. There were 15 people in the chat and no one was really talking about anything just things about themselves like where they lived. Trevor took the keyboard from Cassandra and rubbed his hands together in excitement and licked his lips.

“Don’t sound to whacked up,” Cassandra warned.

“Don’t worry… I’m just gonna say something interesting and maybe someone will wanna talk to us.” He started typing.

Spunky: Hey ya’ll ever wish life could be like a fictional book? Like a happily ending fairytale or a star struck superhero that saves his dream lady?

Cracky: No that’s like totally bull. All those fiction books are bull. They are like, ‘Why would someone think of this crap?’

“Yeah well you are a piece of crap Cracky.” Cassandra send into the screen.

Ketsher: But that would be so cool to live like the books and get the perfect guy..

Cassandra took the keyboard back.

Spunky: Yeah and there’s so much more to wish life would be like. Like on TV.

McDee: That’s so true.

Spunky: I mean we see singers and want to be them. All these actors are acting out an untrue life.

McDee: We can’t live the perfect life, only watch it.

Trevor smiled. “You got them talking girl! Good job!”

“I know I’m the best!” She gave him a high five.

Deka56: Who Cares?

Spunky: You’re right.

McDee: Huh?

Spunky: Who cares about the books and TV when we live in a real world.

Katbear: But the fantasy world is so much freer.

Spunky: We make up the fantasy world and that makes us free.

Carfur: You made Deka leave! He was mean earlier…

McDee: Spunky you’re cool. I don’t go on chats often and you are very… … wordy

“Trevor, I’m cool and wordy.” Trevor and her laughed. Cassandra privately messaged McDee.

Spunky: Wordy?

McDee: It’s a good thing

Spunky: how?

McDee: You’re good with words.

Spunky: Oh, Okay whatever.

McDee: My friends just came in the room I have got to go.

McDee: What’s your email?

Spunky: Trevsbudy@happylilme.com (not Real)

McDee: cute.. bye..

The person signed off and so did Cassandra. “I rule I know I do! I got you an e-pal by starting off with a stupid question.” Cassandra punched the ‘too-proud’ Trevor in the shoulder playfully.
