RESTING OR WORKING?
Are you resting? Feels good to rest don't it?
Well it is not time to rest, it's time to work for God's kingdom.
We are told that six days we work and the seventh is the day of rest.
The six days of work mentioned is work for God's kingdom not earthly work.
Each and ever day of our lives is to be spent working for God not just on Sunday.
In fact! We are not supposed to be working on Sunday, we are supposed to be in personal fellowship and praise to God on the seventh day.
This is a day to get our spiritual food.
We have always been taught that Sunday is a day to be out soul winning and visiting, this is the farthest from reality of the truth.
He did not say only one day of work but six days of work and the seventh day is a day of rest.
We have reversed the role of action, we work on one day for God and rest on the six days.
When we go to our physical jobs we are still supposed to be working for God at the same time whether it be witnessing to a lost soul on break, on assembly line, on the road to a site, at lunch.
We can be about his business just singing a low hymn at work, our very actions are working to build faith in others by our strong obedience and convictions.
Well I am on a job where people would not like that kind of stuff and think I'm a Jesus freak!
So what if they do, did they not criticize Jesus Himself even to the point of crucifixion.
Did this stop Him from going about the Fathers business?
No indeed it did not, in fact He even informed His own mother that He must be about the Fathers business.
It does not matter what kind of job you are at, you need to be doing God's work.
Six days we are to labor lest through our fault we lead others in non-belief.
People watch us Christian’s closer than we think and if they see us doing something then they think; well it must be alright cause they do it.
Set examples of Christ not of the conformity to the world.

ADULT OR CHILD
WHICH ARE YOU?
Are you an adult?
Are you fully grown?
As a child we think like a child, act like a child, talk like a child; because we are a child.
We have not learned all that is needed to be an adult yet.
We learn all of this by living from day to day, through sight, hearing, touch, and smell.
Now our mind is humble and meek as this child and this part we would like to keep the same but it too changes, as we grow older.
However this frame of mind can once again be obtained when we accept Christ into our lives.
We must go through this growth in order to expand our mind along with our body otherwise we would forever be that child.
A newborn Christian is a child in spirit.
They have not learned all they need to be fully grown in the spirit.
just like the physical child grows, a Christian must grow also in order to be fully grown in the spirit.
WOE UNTO THEM THAT ARE WITH CHILD, AND TO THEM THAT GIVE SUCK IN THOSE DAYS. Matthew 24:19
Now this is referring to a child in spirit, if you have a child it is unaware of all the evil and dangers of Satan's realm and therefore is easily deceived.
If you have children then you must keep an eye on them constantly to make sure that they are safe from harm.
A spiritual child needs protection just as that physical child does.
Evil is waiting everywhere to deceive and overtake them.
We must allow our spirit to grow in Christ.
How do we do this you ask?
Real easy; just talk with your father very often, ask him to help you to understand and grow, to help others to understand in order to grow.
Read your bible frequently and ask God to guide you through what he wants you to learn.
As a physical child growing up when you are hungry or thirsty you as you mom or dad to give you something to eat don't you?
Well ask God to fill your hunger and thirst for righteousness, understanding, and patience and he will.
You won't receive if you don't ask!
If you think that you are to good to ask for something, Woe unto you!
You must humble yourself as a little child before God.
If you cannot, then you do not have faith to begin with, what you have is an appearance.
Your appearance act will not get you into heaven my friend!
We are fighting a hard battle here on this old earth and if we are not grown spiritually then we do not have the weapons necessary to conquer the enemy.
We have to bend our knees and seek guidance otherwise we are puffed up with vain vanity, which does not allow us to be poor in spirit.
JAMES: 1:26 If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man's religion is vain.
We may be rich in the physical realm but rich don't cut it !
All the riches of this world will not get you into heaven, You can't buy your way in, you can't deceive your way in, you can't lie your way in, you can't work your way in, you cannot ride on someone else’s salvation and get in either.
The only way in is through Jesus Christ, He is the truth, the light and the way.
Look at the seedling how small, it is a child and for it to be strong enough to survive it must grow, and to grow it needs some help, it has to be fed and watered or it will dry up and wither away.
Now to all of you spiritually grown adults out there.
Are you helping the children to grow or are you knocking them down under your feet?
Are you standing in their way hindering their growth process because you are afraid that they will grow faster than you or grow away from you?
It is your job to teach them, to guide and nurture them as that little seedling as if they were your very own children.
Would you keep your child from mentally growing, I don't think so!
You show that new Christian baby love!
You take them into the fold and teach them God's ways.
If you see that that are fixing to stray don't just stand there and say well I knew this was going to happen, they have always been bad, I knew they would go back to it.
That attitude is exactly what Satan wants you to display so that he can win another soul.
The chances are they will not go back into the world of sin if they receive the proper nutrition from the Christian family that they need in order to grow.
Instead of criticizing them, help them to come away from it, get them back on the right path.
If your baby falls do you knock it up side the head and tell it to stay there or do you go over and gently help it get back up on its feet again?
Think like that baby would and you will be able to help them more effectively.
People we are living in the tribulation days and we best be getting off of our lazy self-attitudes and get to helping others.
Get those gardens to growing into strong healthy ones.
Its time to make up your mind what world you are going to live in.
May God guide you, keep you, and Bless you.
