Kevin smiled as Madison held an intricatly designed necklace in her hand. "Ohh..Kev..look at it.."
He stepped closer to her, "Its beautiful."
She nodded and put it back in its case. "It'd look beautiful on you..," He said quietly.
"I guess so but Kevin? Its 1400 dollars."
He shrugged, "I'd buy it for you."
"Ohhh..impressive Mr. Richardson."
Kevin grinned, "I thought so..you know, I do have to impress the ladies."
Madison rolled her eyes, "Ohhh..and takin' ego classes from AJ..bad move Kev..bad, bad move."
He laughed and put his arm around her shoulder as they walked out of another store. They walked farther down the street and paused as Kevin's cell phone began to ring. Madison was looking in a window as Kevin talked. He flipped it off, sighed, and turned to Madison. "Mads?"
"Yeah?"
"I gotta get back..we're supposed to make an appearance tonight at a show.."
She smiled as they started towards the hotel, which was about three blocks away. "And let me guess? No girlfriends allowed, huh?"
"Right..in not so many words."
"Its okay..LeighAnne's here and we can always go out for dinner or something.."
He held her hand as they crossed the street, "True..are you sure you're not mad?"
"Nope..it's okay..really.."
Late, late that night Madison heard the door unlock, open and then close and looked up as Kevin entered the room. "Did I wake you?," He whispered.
She shook her head groggily, "Kinda..but don't worry about it. How was the play?"
He sighed and sat down on the bed before beginning to take off his shoes and socks. "Believe it or not, it was kinda boring...but of course, we couldn't just up and leave."
She nodded and pushed her hair out of her face. "What'd you and Leigh do?," He asked as he unbuttoned his shirt and went towards the bathroom.
"Dinner and a movie."
"Sounds productive."
"Believe me, it was. We went and saw 'What Lies Beneath', oh good Lord Kev; I was kinda scared to come back to the room alone."
He came back into the room smiling and crawled up on the bed with her, "So, what was the ending??"
She grinned rolling onto her back, "I'm not telling..you'll have to see for yourself. But let's just say it was scary enough for this girl in front of us to scream once or twice."
He raised an eyebrow, "Hmmm..maybe we should take Nick to see it."
She laughed and pushed him away playfully, "Poor Nick...he'd be scared shitless.."
Kevin laughed, "Thats true..but so would Brian."
"Yep."
He hugged her close to him, "This has been one of the most relaxing days I've had in awhile."
She nodded against him, "I understand Kev...and I'm glad I could be apart of it."
He smiled, kissed her gently and then got under the covers. "Yes, me too..but Mads..I'm tired."
"I know..let's go to sleep Kev.."
He smiled, reaching over to turn off the light.
