Madison smiled as she looked out the second story window of Nick's house. The sky was clear, just a few light fluffly clouds. The ocean was perfect, the waves rolling in and she could see boats speckled along the horizon. She took a deep breath and looked away from the window. It that D-Day; her and Kevin were finally getting married. Nick had agreed to have the wedding at his house and use his private beach. Madison had bought a simple white dres that fell just to the tops of her feet. Everyone that had been invited was there. So far, everything was perfect. There was a knock at the door, "Mads? Can I come in?"
"Yeah Nicky..come on in.."
"Damn..I was hopin' you weren't decent.," He said with a smile.
"Funny..so..how do I look?"
"Very good..damn, why couldn't I of gotten to you first before Kev?"
She smiled, "I'd of dated you Nicky..if I was a little younger or you were older..you're just too damn young for me."
"Ouch..insult a man why don't ya?"
"I'm just kidding..is it time?"
"That it is..Rob wanted me to come up here and get you."
"Well let's go..I wanna get this over with before these butterflies in my stomach threaten to come out.."
"Eww..mental image there Mads."
She laughed as they walked downstairs, "I know.."
The ceremony was quick and simple; just as everyone wanted. Now, they were all up on Nick's deck getting ready to eat. It was almost like a big barbecue party, it was probably the most informal wedding party anyone had been too. Madison and Kevin decided that was the way they wanted it to be. They wanted to share it with only the most important people in their lives.
Kevin pulled his new wife closer to him and kissed her neck gently, "So..what does it feel like to be Mrs. Richardson?"
"Damn good..cause now it means you can NEVER get rid of me."
He laughed, "I'd never want to."
"Good cause you're stuck with me."
"That's not such a bad thing, ya know."
"True..sooo..where we going on our honeymoon?"
He groaned, "That's ALL you care about.."
"Well..you DO know what happens on the honeymoon."
He laughed again, "I swear..you and AJ are the same person sometimes."
"Umm..no..I have boobs..he doesn't..unless he's hidin' something.," She said with a laugh.
He laughed as well, burying his face in her blonde wavy hair. "Okay..okay..I have arranged for us to go to Greece for a week and a half."
"Greece?!"
"Yeah.."
"Oh my Lord! You didn't tell me you were thinkin' about Greece! I've always wanted to go there!"
"Well I'm glad I decided on Greece then."
"Oh I am too.."
"We better go out and join the fun.."
She kissed him again, "But Keevvvv.."
He groaned, "Mads.."
"Fine..come on.."
She pulled him out the patio door and onto the deck. AJ soon announced it was time to eat and everyone crowded around the grill.
Andrew was sitting by Madison and pulled on her arm a little, "Aunt Madi?"
"Yeah sweetheart?"
"So..you and Kev are married now, right?"
"Right."
"Does that mean I'll ever get a cousin? I mean, geez, I'm almost 8 now."
She laughed and took a drink of her coke, "Well hopefully..but not right away..okay Andrew?"
"Okay..so..does this mean I can come visit more often?"
"Of course! I love havin' you around."
"Okay!"
Robert smiled and leaned over towards his sister, "He adores you, you know."
"He's a great kid Rob..you've raised him so well."
Robert smiled, "He's got a good support system too.."
"I guess so.."
He kissed Madison on the cheek before going back to his food, "I'm happy for you Madison..being with Kevin probably isn't the easiest thing in the world but you've seen him through thick and thin and you've always been right there with him..you all'll make it.."
"Thanks Robert."
Madison sighed and looked out the airplane window at the dark night sky. It had almost been 3 hours since they had said goodbye to their families and friends from the airport to go to Greece. Kevin shifted beside her and she looked over to see him waking up from his nap. "Hey sleepy-head."
He smiled, "It's always good to wake up next to you."
"Ooohhh..such the talker."
He laughed and then asked, "Did you ever go to sleep?"
"I'm too wound up.."
"We'll be there soon.."
"No we won't.."
"True..I was just trying to make it sound shorter than it is..here..lean down.."
She sighed, she was tired. She laid her head down on his shoulder and closed her eyes. He gently ran his hand through her hair before kissing her gently and letting her go to sleep.
They arrived in Greece about 5 p.m. the Grecians time. They were both extremely jet-lagged as they made their way to the hotel they were staying at.
Once in the suite, they unpacked and then laid down. Kevin pulled Madison closer to him and kissed her forehead. She mumbled something before relaxing in his arms.
"I love you Madison..you know that..I am so happy that we're finally married.."
Her eyes opened and she smiled gently, "I'm glad we are too.."
"I love you so much.."
"I love you too Kev.."
"I will forever too.."
She smiled and leaned up on an elbow, "You sound so cheesy Kev."
He laughed and pulled her down on the bed before tickling her as she squirmed and laughed under him. "Okay! KEV!! STOP!"
He laughed and loomed over her, "I'm cheesy huh?"
"Only sometimes..it was sweet though.."
"I do, you know.."
"I know..I do too Kevin.."
He kissed her and groaned as she ran her hands across his back. Lord, she sure knew how to get to him sometimes.
