Madison was going to shoot Kevin...and those other four guys. She rubbed her aching forehead with one hand while the other hand clutched the pen in her hand till the point it almost burst. It had been more than four months since her and Kevin had gotten engaged and they still had yet to finish planning the freaken wedding. She heard the front door open and then all their voices and footsteps, "Hey Madison!!"
She groaned out loud, she had a migraine and them yelling and carrying on was not helping. "What AJ?"
All five of them stopped when they saw the mess the kitchen was in. Papers, magazines and other stuff was strewn all over the table, floor, counter tops, chairs, everything. "Damn..did a hurricane come through here?," Brian asked.
"No..what do you all want? I'm trying to plan a WEDDING in case you HADN'T noticed."
"You can do that later.."
"No..I can't...it's called: Three weeks Richardson and we've only decided the date and place to have it. There's ALOT more to plan than just that."
"Madison.."
She put her hand up to stop him from talking, "Don't..say...a...word. All I've heard is excuse after excuse and I'm sick of it..I want us to either get married sometime before the next millennium or just call the damn thing off! You could AT LEAST help me out Kevin."
Kevin groaned inwardly; damn PMS. "I'm sorry Madison...but I've been busy too."
AJ winced as he heard the pen break in Madison's hand and as he saw fire begin to boil in her eyes. Madison sighed, "Fine..whatever..I'll wear jeans and a t-shirt and you wear whatever..we'll eat whatever is in the fridge and have the thing here."
"That's not what I meant and you know it."
"Whatever Kevin..I'm going upstairs to clean up a bit and then I'm going to my house."
They watched as she calmly walked from the kitchen and up the stairs, they heard a door close a second later. "Damn Kev, could you piss her off a little more?," Howie said as he began to pick up the papers from the floor.
"Well, she's gotta understand that I'm busy with other stuff as well. We're trying to get this album out and promote it and come up with a tour itinerary and on top of that I have to plan a wedding too..it's not easy Howie."
"I know that Kev, but you pretty much left her to do everything that has to do with the wedding."
They heard her come back downstairs and she entered the kitchen, "I'm getting my purse and then leaving you all to do your guy stuff. Call me Kev when you decide to be apart of this thing."
He sighed loudly as she walked from the kitchen and to the front door.
Madison was walking to her car when she heard Kevin, "Mads..wait.."
"Why?"
"I'm sorry..I really am. But I'm having to pull double duty here..it's not easy being a Backstreet Boy and then come home and have to plan a wedding."
"Then why get married Kevin.."
"That's not what I meant..geez."
She spun around, "I think I've seen you twice this week. You're always with the guys, and I don't mind it, I don't...I just..I just...I need your help in this Kevin..I can't plan this by myself."
"I know baby..and I'm sorry that you have been. I know I'm always with the guys and at the studio and out and all that but I can't help it. I have to be with them..we have to promote the album and get it out there and now we're trying to come up with a tour itinerary and it's just a big jumbled mess right now.."
"I understand..why do we have to have a big production wedding?"
His eyebrows creased in confusion, "We don't."
Madison set her purse down and crossed her arms, "I think I have an idea."
"What?"
"Let's just invite the guys, their girlfriends or whatever, your mom and brothers, my brother and nephew and that's it. We'll have it on the beach in..Tampa..I don't know where..something simple, easy, all that stuff.."
"Doesn't sound bad.."
"We'll have a barbecue or something here or whereever.."
"The beachhouse."
She smiled, "Yeah. There won't be alot of people but just the people that matter the most to us..it'll be quick, easy, and most of all: private."
"Have I ever told you you're a genius?"
"No but you should more often."
He kissed her, "That is SUCH a good idea..damn, why didn't we think of this earlier?"
"Have no clue. That way..all we have to worry about is getting away on our honeymoon.."
He grinned, "And I am getting you away.."
"Where'd you have in mind?"
He spun her around so her back was to him and wrapped his arms around her tighter, "Hmmm..I dunno..I was thinking..Europe somewhere..Spain..Italy..anywhere we want."
She smiled, "Sounds like a plan to me."
"So..it's settled.."
"Yep."
"You still goin' to your place now?"
She grinned and kissed the tip of his nose quickly, "Yep..I got stuff to do, as do you."
"Like what?"
"Ask the guys.."
"Oh no..Madison..don't leave me with them!"
"Yeah..I'm leavin' you dear..oh yeah, and by the way? I heard that little comment about PMS earlier.."
His eyes widened, "Oh shit..Madi..I didn't-"
"I know..go inside..."
"Did they tell you to act like that?"
"Nope you did that all on your own..sorry babe..call me tomorrow!"
"But-"
"No buts..now get your cute ass in there and have fun! Just don't touch them!!"
"Touch who????"
Madison laughed as she pulled from the driveway; he'd find out.
"I can not believe you all..," Kevin said groaning.
AJ just laughed, "You should believe it'd be me dude!!"
"I should of."
"Come on Kev..."
"No! I'm not going out there so some stripper can..can..strip for me!"
Howie and AJ started to laugh even harder. Brian pulled on his cousin's arm, "Come on man, it's not like Madison doesn't know what's going on, she does!! She said as long as they didn't touch you and you didn't touch them, she didn't care!"
AJ slung an arm around Kevin's shoulders, "Plus, Madison ain't got nothing on those girls in there!"
"Shut up AJ.," Kevin said growling, "I'm not going in there."
"Yes you are.," Said a familar female voice from behind them.
They all turned around to see Madison standing there, "Hi guys.,"
"You can't make me go in there!!," Kevin exclaimed.
She rolled her eyes, "Kev..it's like a right of passage for a guy to have a bachelor party with strippers..there's only two in there. AJ did very nicely."
"Thank you.," AJ said.
"Maddiiisssooon."
"Don't whine, it's not cute. Where's Nick?"
"In the living room."
"NICK! Get your cute ass in here!"
Nick came in a second later, "Madison?"
"Hey..okay, now that we're all in here. Kev..GO. I came to see how it was goin'..and I'm going out."
"With who?," Kevin asked.
"Let's just say Amanda has got some ideas in her head and we're all goin' out."
"MADISON!"
"Guys? Go on out there..Kev'll be there in a min."
He watched as the four left him alone. Madison pulled Kevin towards her, "Kevvy, really, what are you so afraid of?"
"I don't know..I just don't wanna go out there.."
"They won't hurt you.."
"I know.."
"Kevin...go on..have fun with your 'brothers'. Tell the strippers not to get totally naked..they won't care as long as they get paid."
"I don't wanna go."
"Quit pouting. Please? Go have fun..I want you to..I'm going out with the girls just to have some fun...we won't be too bad."
"You better not be."
She laughed, "I won't..I promise. Now go?"
He sighed and relented, "Fine..I'll go."
"Good.."
He leaned down and kissed her deeply. And groaned when she finally pulled away, "Almost got me to stay there buddy."
He grinned, "That was the whole point."
"But I'm lookin' too good to stay in tonight."
He laughed, "Have fun."
"Will do..call me tomorrow?"
"Yep. Love you."
"Love you too.," She said kissing him once more and then leaving.
He heard the front door closed and took a deep breath, he was going to have to face them sooner or later.
'Great..just remember..it's only one hour and they're gone and we can all drink into oblivion or something.,' He thought as he walked to the living room.
