And he was amazed that the Circle remained intact, unbroken...and that some even wrote to ask how the heck he was, where the heck he was, and was everything all...right?
Back. Finished up the house yesterday afternoon, a morning of nitpicking (as MikeBell calls it), trimming, touching up. It was good, in a way, to finally get it over with and yet I was sad, too. Kept thinking how long that darn paint would last: 15 years at least. By then I'll be shopping for aluminum walkers, heh.
Steve wants me to help him build a deck "sometime after Thanksgiving" and there's a lady I see at coffee now and then who may want me to strip and refinish her floors. Hmmmm. Just now thot how weird that might sound. Strip the paint, y'know?
Mainly I have been enjoying my sobriety, although I did something very strange for me today at the Noon Meeting: just got up and walked out, after muttering that I just couldn't handle anymore of the having Xianity shoved down my throat. Haven't done that in years and years. Touchy, eh?
I can now tranlisterate most of the Greek I encounter in the NT, so there's progress on that front, as if my dreams were not telling me the same thing. It's great when the dreams show up and sort of hold and embrace you...wonderful feeling. So...progress is being made.
No poetry lately, so stay tuned. Something may eventually emerge.
Laundry tomorrow, taking care of things which got away from me while I was working.
It's good to be back. Give me a day or so to get back into the Flow.
Luvya's.
