Ok, about that DM level Brother Phthora was making... The VIS locked up at 93% complete, so it never totally finished compiling. It will now reside on the shelf for some time while he continues work on a new SP level, entitled Beginning of the End. The new one incorporates some features he had hoped to include in that DM level, but was unable to because of the compiling. Hopefully in the next day or two we can get some screenshots posted for you of the progress thus far. It's gonna be a dandy!!!

If you've been visiting the Quake III side of The Brotherhood, you'll know that Brother Phthora has been attempting to VIS a new level for Q1. There have been numerous problems with it, but he is still perservering. It should be completed soon, so look for a new kicking level to download!

The Cage, a DM level made my Brother Phthora, is being listed as a HOT download out at File Planet (can you hear Brother Phthora grinning?). If you haven't checked out this thrill-a-minute level, then you're out of touch. To get back in good graces head over to our Downloads page and grab on to this baby! And when you do, send Brother Phthora an e-mail letting him know what you thought of it. Don't worry, he takes criticism ok -- hehehehehehehehehe!!!

Welcome back to The Brotherhood! As you probably know we were closed for a time to acommodate our expansion into Quake III. But we're back and ready for action! If you haven't stopped by the Q3 side yet, be sure to have a look. We're chock full of news, commentaries, reviews, whatever, to keep us and you informed of the Q3 scene. And don't forget our Quake 2 page. yes, it is just a page, but it keeps Lost Sister happy! Hehehehehehehe!!!
And speaking of Lost Sister, we have a new download available on our Downloads page. It's a DM level from Lost Sister herself! She's added her own disclaimer to the page, and I'll stand by every word of it! LOL!!!

It's time for some changes! The Brotherhood, as mentioned before, have been delving into many other things besides Quake 1. Because of these digressions we chose some time ago, to no longer accept solicitations for membership into The Brotherhood. Thanks to all of you who sent requests, and I apologize for not personally getting back to you, but we are still nto accepting any new members at this time. In fact we're preparing for some major changes.
The Brotherhood will be expanding to become more than a Quake 1 Clan. We are soon going to officially become a Quake 3 clan as well. We have been waiting for the full version to be released, and as soon as it is, we'll be ready. Fear not, we are not abandoning Quake 1 -- it's still way too much fun to leave. But we will be concentrating on Quake 3 specifically. Brother Phthora, Brother Kato, and Lost Sister are already heavily involved, and Brother Seppuku will soon follow.
So the website will be undergoing some changes as well. And when all is ready, you'll now have two different games to fear us in. Have fun everyone!

Although most of The Brotherhood has been doing other things, like Q2, Q3, and Brother Kato has been doing EverQuest (ALOT!!!), Brother Phthora still took the time to make a couple new DM levels. One of those new levels, The Cage, is now available for download on our Downloads page. It's fast, furious, and guaranteed fun! The other level he created is not quite available yet. We've tested it quite a bit, decided it's non-stop action, and are debating about the value of the respawn points. Brother Seppuku believes that the respawn points are too easy to run and whore, and after Brother Phthora played with Brother Kato (among others) on that level with the Threewave Runes mod, and watching Brother Kato get the Black Magic Rune and run up a 40 frag lead, he's inclined to agree. But how to modify? When he gets it right, we'll post that one too.

The Brotherhood -- we have an important announcement to make. As of today we will no longer be soliciting nor accepting invitations for membership into The Brotherhood. Although it's not like we did a really good job of communicating with those that did apply (we can bitch at Brother Kato about that -- hehe!), but we are making it official now. I spoke earlier of possible alterations in The Brotherhood, and until those are resolved we don't want to put anyone out unintentionally by not responding to a request. We are still, however, accepting challenges from any who choose to stand against us. Hehe!
At the moment it is also very hard to find us out online playing -- that is, if you're looking for us together as The Brotherhood. We are still together, but not playing together alot anymore (email Brother Kato about that too!). But we are out there under new identities. See if you can guess who we are! (Hint -- we are under names that are still part of a group) But should the challenge arise, rest assured that The Brotherhood will come together for the fight!
