January 31 (Raw) - Jericho had a match against X-Pac. It was a good match, Jericho hit a sling-shot dropkick and a nice butterfly suplex. Of course X-Pac didn't hit any moves, he never does in any match, he's always on the defence even when he wins a match. Late in the match the Walls of Jericho is strapped on, but Tori nailed Jericho over the head with the IC belt. X-Factor and X-Pac won the match. Luckily for Jericho it was a non-title match.
January 27 (SmackDown) - Jericho had to defend the IC title against Crash Holly. Later in the match Hardcore Holly nailed Jericho over the head with the belt. Chyna tried to get in the action but Hardcore kicked her in the face. Jericho was still able to get up and put Crash Holly in the Walls of Jericho for the win while Chyna finished off cousin Hardcore on the outside. After the match Jericho and Chyna high fived each other in victory.
January 24 (Raw) - Hardcore Holly gave Chyna a cheap shot near her lockeroom after he claimed she cost him the IC title at the Royal Rumble, it was broken up by Jericho and some officials. Later that night Jericho had to defend his title against Holly. Chyna came to ringside. Holly tried to nail Chyna with a chair but Jericho made the save. Later in the match Jericho was dropkicked and fell into the ropes and got tied up. While the referee was trying to free Jericho, Chyna came in and nailed a pedigree on top of a chair on Holly. Jericho followed up with an asai moonsault for the win.
January 23 (Royal Rumble) - Finally it was the triple threat match between Jericho, Chyna and Hardcore Holly to crown the undisputed IC champion. It was a long battle, lots of excitement and great series of moves and followups. Late in the match Jericho was outside the ring, Chyna had Holly in a Boston crab. Jericho got in the ring and gave Chyna a bulldog followed up by an asai moonsault. He went for the pin, yes! Jericho is the undisputed Intercontinental champion!
January 20 (SmackDown) - It was Too Cool and Rikishi against Jericho, Chyna and Hardcore Holly. They tripled team Rikishi until the referee finally disqualified them.
January 17 (Raw) - Jericho had a title defence against Rikishi. Jericho was dominated the whole match except for a few dropkicks. The Holly's came in after the referee was accidentally knocked out. Rikishi took care of them too. Rikishi was about to finish it off when Chyna ran in and hit him with a low blow. Rikishi ended up winning by disqualification.
January 13 (SmackDown) - Chyna went and told the news to Tori that Jericho liked her and fantasized about her in a flight attendants outfit. Of course this was a lie, but it worked. Jericho was then scheduled to take on Kane later that night. Jericho came out and told Kane that he really didn't like Tori. He said he likes prettier and more intelligent girls. He said you have to be half retarded to like her and called her a psycho lunitic. That just made Kane more mad. As you would have probably guessed Kane won, and quite easily at that.
January 10 (Raw) - Jericho and Chyna were to take on the Holly's, again. Jericho had the early advantage and was able to get a double team in with Chyna. Late in the match Chyna was in trouble, but Jericho left her to lose with the IC title in hand.
January 6 (SmackDown) - Jericho and Chyna were to take on the Holly's. Jericho said he would do all the work, but he was pinned and the IC title left around Chyna.
January 3 (Raw) - Stephanie McMahon went to the ring with three referees and the IC title. She was going to tell who is the real champ. She called both Jericho and Chyna out to the ring. She told them that they were both the champs, but only one could defend at a time and if one lost they would both lose the title. At that point the Holly's came out and Hardcore Holly challenged Chyna. Jericho cheered for Chyna at ringside and eventually helped her win by punching Hardcore Holly behind the referees back.
