Welcome to my website. The wonderful world of Rockin' Heath. I have been working for Ad Astra Per Aspera Broadcasting, Inc. which owns HitRadio 94-7 KSKU (Top 40), Oldies 95.9 HK-FM KWHK (Oldies from the 50s, 60s, and 70s), and Kicks 106 KXKU 106.1 FM (Country) since May of 2001. I used to work for Country 102.9 KHUT (Eagle Communications) as their overnight discjockey from 12a(mid)-6am. Unfortunately, I fell asleep and not longer had a job so that is when I went to work for KSKU/KXKU/KWHK. Anyways, the new station I work for is more laid back and I have been able to do somethings I wasn't able to do at KHUT. I am pretty much the severe weather anchor when severe weather pops up in Central and South Central Kansas. Only time I am not able to anchor is when I am at my other full time job at Target. My program director is pretty cool. I've learned so much working at KSKU/KWHK/KXKU by doing remotes, mixing commercials and making sure weekend programming is taken care of. As I mentioned a few moments ago, I also work at Target. I am the Receiving/Reverse Logistics Specialist. I work in the backroom receiving and checking in packages from UPS, FedEx and other vendors like Coke, Pepsi, and so forth. I have been there since 2004 when I got laid off from Kmart. Target is a better place to work for than Kmart. They care about their employees and have fun things for their employees. As of July 20, 2007 we were 199 days without an employee accident. If we hit 365 days, we will get a safety shirt and at 200 which I think we made we all get steak dinners that the Executives get to cook for us. I also have a 3rd job working for Pizza Hut as I deliver pizzas. It's a fun job as well. I get to go out and get fresh air. Sometimes you get tips, sometimes not.
