Change is nessarry to grow. Without change this world and everything within it would have died out long ago. Tis the whole basis of the Evolution theory. If things were to stay the same they would die out, because there would be no place for them within the world.
Which is why I can't understand why people in the Gorean online Yahoo community are always so worried about what it used to be... if you only care about what was, and forget about what is now then you're outdated. Obsolete if you will (yes I know thats spelled wrong.. feel free to e-mail me the correct spelling if it bugs you.)
Each day in any of the Gorean rooms you can find discussions down to arguments on what is Gor... What is used to be and the horror that it is now.

I personally like what Gor is now, else why would I be there. And thats the question I wish I could just ask. Why are you here if you think its such a shame. If its not what you want it to be then why are you wasting your time sitting here complaining?

Without change Gor would have died.
Gor is a book series. Tis written by one man with his thoughts in mind. Its not going to fit everyone, nor is it meant to. But if you want Gor to survive and not die the second you put the book down then you need to let it grow, to evolve. To change.
tis human nature to hate change, though I am not sure why. We all want things to stay the same, forever and ever... always looking back to those golden moments where everything was right in the world. Of course at the time it didn't seem all that great, but imortilized in our memories the sun seemed to shine brighter and the days lasted longer.. (or the nights... hehehehehehe)
So Gor has changed, it has evolved and now new people fill it's imaginary walls... they stretch the boundieries of what is and what will be. I for one can't wait to see what it will be like in another year. Whether it changes for the better or worse I don't much care. Either way I'll be there... writing my silly lil essays and noting the changes...
