A Poem For Our Baby
Our baby’s heart stopped beating
It couldn’t take the pain
The fight against God’s Angels
Was sadly all in vain
The Angels came a-looking
On Gods behalf they found
Our darling sweetheart Alex
And they left without a sound
Now Alex is at peace again
With no more pain to bare
And we are left to wonder "WHY?"
And say "IT’S JUST NOT FAIR".
My darling Alex,
You were to be a new creation,
an extension of the love we share.
But sadly you were taken from us
and the hopes and dreams went to.
Mummy, Daddy, and Megan will miss you
for the rest of our lives and we will
look forward to meeting you again
when the time comes. You take care
and enjoy your time in God’s nursery.

You have helped make this terrible time
easier to cope with and we thank you
from the bottom of our hearts.
Alex would be proud that Mummy,
