If you knew Soozie, then you know she is Soozie Tyrell,
once known as Soozie Kirschner. She is not to be confused
with the actress in "The Big Blue" with the same name.

Soozie was born May 4, 1957 in Italy, the daughter of
a military man. She was raised in Taiwan, and later
resided in a variety of cities in the States, as her
father's Army career dictated.

She moved to New York City, at the age of 19, to begin a
career of her own in music. She and Patti Scialfa have
worked together from early on in both careers.

Soozie had her own group at one time called "The Wild
Blue Marlins", the drummer having been Dennis McDermott.

Soozie's talents can be heard on other Springsteen albums,
but she is getting particular notice on "The Rising" Album.
It's Soozie's violin that sends chills up your spine when
you hear Bruce sing "You're Missing". Soozie is not only
on the Rising Album, but is with Bruce and the E Street
Band for the Rising Tour.

Her own album, "White Lines", was released April 8, 2003.
Brucefan's Collections is most honored to say that Soozie
has viewed this page herself and promptly corrected the
wrong birth date that was originally posted. Thankyou
Soozie, and the best of luck to you with your new album.
