All Three Generations We call ourselves the "Freedom Girls" My mother Randi, my five-year-old daughter and myself Susan Anastasia promote the newly released Patriot Bonds from the US Treasury in our matching Uncle Sam attire. The Freedom Girls represent three generations that connect American's past with the future. Randi Johnson Dale, born in New York and now living in Manhattan, KS is the only known cover girl from the WW2 War bond drive. Her picture appeared on the July 1944 issue of Popular Photography Magazine. As a five-year-old child she also interviewed by a reporter on television station and appeared at War Bond Drives. Susan Dale, born during the Vietnam crisis, manages a Dance Shop in Tulsa, Ok. She is interested in a balanced economy, both spending and saving, and not raising taxes. She wanted to help our government during these trying times by encouraging Americans to buy (WAR) Patriot Bonds. Susan daughter, Anastasia Richardson, is the granddaughter of Randi Dale. She's a typical five year old interested in Clifford The Big Red Dog, The Powerpuff Girls, Veggie Tales, ballet lessons and Barbie dolls. She has said " When I grow up I want to be a fireman so I can help people". Her grandpa Dale is a retired Volunteer Fireman of 17 years, served as a volunteer Riley County, KS Police Officer for 4 years, served 2 years in the Air Force and also was a USPS letter carrier for 20 years in Manhattan, KS the "the little Apple". The Freedom Girls declare, as did the writers of the Declaration of Independence, that all people are created equal and they are endowed by their creator with Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness and that cannot, and should not by taken away. Sept 11, 2001, as did the Pearl Harbor attack Dec 7, 1941 brought a reality to our lives that terrorism in all forms can take way our freedoms, unless we make a stand. Since the Freedom Girls cannot be on the front lines overseas, our front line is the U.S.A. encouraging all people to do two things. To buy products and enjoy life, and To invest for the future and support the U.S. Government by buying the Patriot Bonds. These bonds will not be earmarked for a specific cause. However, the government needs to borrow in order to continue the war effort and rebuild the economy. This project will last more than a few months; it may take years. The Freedom Girls ask everyone to buy Patriot Bonds. On Monday Dec 17, 2001 in Tulsa, OK at Quest Dance Shop The Freedom Girls hosted the First Bonds Drive since WW2. The merchants from Tulsa and other national companies donated a variety of gifts and coupons to people who bought the Patriot EE Bonds during the drive. Special merchant sacks were given to the first 300 bonds buyers. We would like to travel to other US cities to host future bond drives. We are encouraging Americans to buy one Patriot bonds a month and maybe we will not have to raise taxes in the future. It is important to invest in American today. We hope that you can help us by supporting the promotion of the Patriot Bonds in America. We have been talking with Popular Photography in hopes that they will do a cover promoting the Patriot Bonds like they did in July issue 1944 promoting the War Bonds and they are interested. Anastasia is the same age her Grandmother was when she promoted the War Bonds in WW2. They have requested that I get written support from any government office, Senate, House of Rep., Head of State, Veterans and anyone that support the promotion of the Patriot Bonds.
