I stand outside looking in watching you smile and laugh Wishing for you to let me in. Slowly the sky rumbles and the clouds part, Spilling a sea of crystals down on me. Soon my eyes join the crystals too, crying out to you. Tears of longing for you to let me into your heart. Longing for you to see me standing outside. Hoping you’d see the many hurtful nights I cried. And from outside I see her standing next to you. Watching as you hold each other sharing sweet kisses too. Though any other person would turn and look away I am forced to stay. Warm tears stream down my cheeks As my lips form a smile tasting the tears as they meet. Outside I smile happy that your in love, but inside I’m dying as my heart breaks and bleeds knowing I can never have your love. Though I love you more and more each day There is nothing I can do to make you stay. So I will forever remain outside...far from you Looking in watching never reaching out to you as I always do.
