Nick gently lifted the framed picture of Ashlee of his nightstand. Her big green eyes staring at him, her long blond hair flowing free, with the water in the background. Nick put the picture back. He put his head in his hands and began to cry. "Nick?" his mom asked lightly knocking on his door. "What?" Nick asked whipping his eyes and looking up at his mom. "How you doing?" "Fine." Nick replied. Jane nodded and left. Ashlee had been killed in a car accident 2 months ago. She was his first love.
Chapter 1
Ashlee sighed and looked up from her paper. She was sitting in star bucks in a corner table. Her lap top in front of her and a frappichino next to her and books all around the table. "Nick chill I just have to get some coffee." Brian said. "When did you start coming into star bucks?" "Long time ago." Brian replied irritated with Nick. Nick sighed and looked around. He noticed a girl with long blond hair sitting in the corner. She looked stressed out. She had books everywhere. She all of a sudden looked at him and smiled. Nick smiled back. She looked down again.
Ashlee looked down at her laptop. That guy was so gorgeous. She looked up again he was still there but now some guy was talking to him. They whispered something and the guy with brown hair walked out the door. The blond guy turned to toward Ashlee. He slowly walked over to him. "Hi." Nick said when he reached Ashlee. "Hi." Ashlee said back. There was a silence. "I'm Ashlee Mathers." " Nick Carter." Ashlee stuck out her hand and Nick shook it. "So doing some home work?" Nick asked "Yeah I have a paper due in English lit." "Oh, you in high school or college?" "College." Ashlee replied "Well I have to get going and you obviously have a important paper due, but can we get together sometime?" Nick asked "Sure." Ashlee said. She took a piece of notebook paper and wrote her phone number and dorm room number on it. Nick thanked her and said goodbye. After he left Ashlee turned her attention back to her paper.
Ashlee unlocked the door to her dorm room. Her roommate Jessica was at her boyfriend's house as usual. Ashlee grabbed a bottle of water from the fridge, and plopped on her bed. She turned on the TV and turned to MTV. Real World New Orleans was on. The phone rang and Ashlee got up to grab it. "Hello?" Ashlee asked. "Is this Ashlee?" "Yes, who is this?" "Its Nick." "Hey Nick." "Hey, I was wondering if you were busy tomorrow." "Nope." Ashlee replied "Well do you wanna have lunch tomorrow?" "Sure that would be great." "Okay I'll pick you up at 12:30." "Okay see ya then." Ashlee hung up the phone and changed into her PJ's.She layed down and soon fell asleep.
Chapter 2
Ashlee woke up at 10:30. She had a bowl of cereal. After breakfast she went to pick out something to wear. He didn't tell her where they were eating. Ashlee decided on a pair of jeans and a baby blue tank top. She took a quick shower. She fixed her hair and applied a little make up. She was ready at 12:15. She was sitting on her bed watching TV. "I hate guys!" her roommate Jessica yelled slamming the door. "What happened?" "Right before I left Conner's house he said he had a great time with me but its over." "Are you serious?" "Yes." Jessica replied plopping on her bed. Just then there was a knock on the door. "Jess I'd love to stay and help but I have to go out to eat with a friend." ""Okay, can we talk when you get home." "Sure." Ashlee said getting up. She slipped on her sandels and opened the door. "Hey Nick." "Hey Ash, ready?" "Yeah, bye Jess." "See ya." Ashlee shut the door. Her and Nick walked to his car. He opened the passenger door and helped Ashlee in. Then he walked over to the driver's side. "So where are we going for lunch?" Ashlee asked "Where do you wanna go?" "Doesn't matter." "Okay how about the Olive Garden." "Sounds good."
Chapter 3
They took a table in the back even though Ashlee couldn't figure out why cause there was plenty of places in the front. (A.N. Ashlee hasn't figured out that he's Nick from the BSB) "So what do you like to do?" Ashlee asked "Sing and dance, play b-ball." "Really, singing and dancing." "Yeah." "You in a group or anything?" Nick started to laugh. "What?" Ashlee asked "You don't know who I am." "Umm no sorry." "Ever heard of the backstreet boys." "Oh my god I'm so stupid my bestfriend Malarie is like obsessed with you guys." Nick laughed "It's okay I thought you knew, know that you do I hope you don't treat me any different." "I wont." They got a long great. After they were done eating nick drove Ashlee back to the dorm because she needed to talk to Jess. "I'm sorry I have to cut this so short, but I told Jess I'd talk to her." " No prob." Nick replied. He was walking Ashlee back to her dorm. "Hey Ash." Her friend Belle said. "Hey Belle." Belle looked at Nick, then she smiled at Ashlee and walked away. "Well I'll see you later?" Ashlee asked, they were at her dorm now. "Yeah." Nick replied He kissed Ashlee on the cheek and said goodbye. Ashlee unlocked the door to see Jess sitting on her bed watching "She's All That" "Ash, good your back."
